Chapter 10
*Eleanor's POV* I woke up to the slight tapping on my arm and somebody calling my name. I groaned inaudibly under my breath tossing around on the floor. "Wake up Eleanor, you have a lot of work to do at the palace, remember?" I forced my eyelids open and looked through the small window. "C'mon Gwen, it's not sunrise yet." I shut my eyes, ready to drift off to sleep again. SMACK!! "Ow!!!" I yelped in surprise, jerking up off the ground and rubbed my head soothingly, trying to ease the pain. "What was that for?" I asked, scrunching my face in annoyance. "Well, that's a clear reminder that the Queen hates you." she replied, folding her hands under her breast with her brows arched. "Why would she ha--" I trailed off when I remembered the order from the Queen yesterday. "Oh dear gods of Narva, why me??" I grumbled wanting to rest my head on the wall but accidentally smacked it a little hard. "Ouch!!!!" I yelped moving away from the wall. Gwen stood up from the ground with hand

*Eleanor's POV*       *Two weeks later*     I walked deeper into the bush, my vision a little blurry, my legs wobbling slightly but managed to keep going. I used my hands to angrily wipe the tears off my face. My body swayed slightly unable to keep steady. I walked further into the bush and finally arrived at my destination, a small river with rocks around it. I walked to a big rock and sat on it sniffing lightly. I was mad, crazy, deranged, anything just name it, so I had to stay away from the castle. I know this is a big risk, especially for a 'slave' like me, but at this moment I don't care.

Chapter 12
"I would rather not say uncle" Luciano turned to fully face Elliot, his face clearly mirroring displeasure.       Elliot walked into the balcony towards the railings ignoring the look on his face.       "Why are you here?" Luciano asks, staring at the disturbance right in front of him.       "Is it too bad to see my nephew?" Elliot replies questioningly staring at the garden.       Luciano scoffs tilting his head to the side. "Very bad when that nephew doesn't wants to see you." Elliot chuckles humourlessly not saying a word.        "Found a bride yet." He asks raising an eyebrow at Luciano.       "That's not your business to know." Luciano scpffs angrily. He doesn't understand what this man wants, can't he just accept the fact that he never likes him and would never

"Brother," Elliot called walking into the throne room just after Axel had dismissed the council.   Axel turned his head to see Elliot walking into the throne room. Elliot stopped a few meters from the stairs leading to the throne seat and bowed his head in courtesy.   "Elliot." Axel said in acknowledgement after the council had gone leaving the room empty with just the both of them in it and two guards standing at the door.   "How did the meeting go?" Elliot asked with concern lacing in his voice. "You don't look so good."   "The crops aren't producing well, all the money spent on the farm is going down the drain."     *Gwen's POV*   I heaved out a heavy sign for the umpteenth time, arranging the dishes into the tray. She asked the second guard. "You won't tell this to the prince right?"   Ranvir glanced at Quillon before answering. "Yes, Madam Helen."   "Thank you so much." She appreciated before urging them to open up and let her in. Quillon brought out the keys from his pocket before opening the gate of the dungeon. The gates made clanking noises as he pushed it open. Madam Helen muttered another thank you before stepping into the dungeon with the tray of food in her hands.   "Child." She called out and dropped the tray on the floor. I turned to the window where the bright ray of sunshine came from, I sighted Gwen standing by the window staring at me with concern.    "Are you okay?" She asked walking to me.
