CHAPTER 1

There was not a single man in the big room who was not repulsed by her appearance. Bound in shackles, dressed in nothing but rags, it was not just that she smelled like a sewer, it was also as if her skin was literally peeling from multiple places. As the men around her looked at her, even if with a disgusted look, they realized her whole body was covered with black mud and it was this mud that was dripping all around. She was sitting with her head down. Her long, red hair was filthy just like her body and she was least interested in what was happening around her. "I smell it," her nose twitched forcefully. "What the hell is this smell?" a growl echoed in her head. She squinted her eyes to compose herself. "Mila," a man spoke from her front. Ever since she had been dragged inside the room, she had not lifted her head. She just didn't care... "You will answer when you are spoken to," another man growled angrily. Finally, she looked up but didn't lift her face. Her eyes, forget-me-

CHAPTER 2

Mila blinked as men approached her from all sides and she knew it was now or never."Don't you wonder why they were there to force me back?" Mila shouted. The alpha raised his hand to stop his men."I don't care if they were they fucked you or ate you alive. You are too pathetic for my another minute," the alpha spoke without interest."If it is my last day on Earth, I want to know what that smell is," Grace moaned."Twelve times I ran away, twelve times they dragged me back," Mila continued."Just proves you are utterly useless. Couldn't even learn from your past mistakes, got caught every time," the alpha brushed his hand airily."Take her," the alpha announced and two men picked up the chains and started to drag her away. She was at the gate of the big room when the smell that was tantalizing Grace hit Mila's nostrils too and Mila stopped. For the first time in her life, her mouth watered and her knees gave in."What is it?" this time it was Mila who cried, while Grace was doing a

CHAPTER 3

The room was filled with an uproar. A tiny, filthy girl is a fighter? "Now she is just mumbling," the alpha laughed raucously. "I can prove it," Mila spoke to Arthur. "Prove it?" Arthur took back his hand from Chloe's and walked to Mila. Chloe was taken aback by his action. Never had Arthur acted like this. First, he left her alone in her chambers, then he refused to follow her, then he took back his hand from hers! What was happening? "Do you have any fighters?" Mila asked carelessly. Arthur laughed, "Yes, we do have. Even I am a fighter of this clan." "NO!" both Chloe and the alpha spoke in unison. "You will not fight that," Chloe ordered and spat the last word as she rushed to him and grabbed him possessively. "No..." Arthur heaved a sigh, "I will not fight her, Chloe," he spoke, eyes fixed on Mila's. "You really want to fight my people?" the alpha spoke from his throne. "How else you will know my worth?" Mila spoke to Arthur. It was as if they were enchanted by each oth

CHAPTER 4

"NOOOOOO...." Tony, Arthur and Grace shouted in unison.Mila turned and the arrow grazed her lightly on the arm and missed her. Tony, who was on the ground seconds ago was beside her, with his hands around her protectively. Arthur, who was almost running towards her had stopped dead on his feet when he saw Tony hug her.Mila looked up, at the bow which had released the arrow, and it was in the hands of Chloe."Are you hurt?" Tony asked, tear-stricken."Act as if you hate me," Mila repeated as she pressed her wound. Fortunately, Grace had acted on time and made Mila turn. The graze on her arm was so shallow that there was no blood spilt. The people in the Collins clan didn't know how lucky they were. Had her blood been spilt here, they all would have been in her control instantly, all the men at least. "Tony?" Arthur enraged."She defeated me today, but only I can kill her in future," Tony growled as he explained his actions. The alpha, who too was appalled by Tony's behavior, relaxed

CHAPTER 5

One of the servants led Mila out to the outskirts. Now as she was free, she realized she was, in fact, in a mansion before. The servant called it a 'palace' but she thought calling Arthur's house a palace was a little far-fetched."Is that food?" Mila asked the servant who was walking beside her.He nodded. The servant was dressed in a plain shirt and pants, and he looked quite friendly. His smile was easy and he had a very friendly aura around him - something she had been missing most of her life."Is it for me?" Mila asked again. He nodded again.Without another word, Mila snatched the bread that was on the plate and gobbled it down. She then picked up a piece of steak and swallowed it too. There were some crisps and other assorted items, and she ate them too. The servant looked at her in shock.“Try not eating anything for more than twenty-four hours,” Mila groaned as she now chewed at a more human pace. The servant laughed and continued to walk.“You do not shirk away from me?” Mi

CHAPTER 6

OWOOOOOO Mila woke with a jerk as Grace was howling in her head. "Fine, I am awake," Mila growled as she felt sore everywhere. No wonder she was sore, she was lying on the floor, all covered in mud. "I want to go out," Grace dictated. "Fine..." Mila sighed as she undressed and rolled her filthy dress to tie at her ankle. "But it is not even dawn, you know," she muttered. "How else I will walk and swim without being seen?" Grace reasoned. She was right. As Mila now lay completely naked on the ground, Grace took charge. Mila smiled as she felt her body transform and bright red furs erupt all over her body. Her hands and feet elongated, and a strong, broad muzzle took place of her face. Within seconds a big, red wolf - though still covered in black mud - was standing on the floor. "Make sure no one sees us," Mila spoke in Grace's head. "Owoooooooooo" Grace howled in agreement as she darted outside and jumped in the water. As Mila let Grace enjoy herself, she took a nap in Grace

CHAPTER 7

*NSFW WARNING*A weird, unique sensation rippled through her body, and she felt a throb between her legs.Mila felt Grace struggle to take charge, and Mila knew why. Grace, in her wolf form, would not think twice before mating with Arthur's wolf. But Mila resisted. Her identity was a secret, and she was going to protect it as long as it was possible for her."Stop right there," Mila announced as she heard footsteps approach. "What are you doing here?" Arthur asked, confused. "I was taking a bath," Mila informed. "I was supposed to be alone, wasn't I?" "Our city wakes up at 5 in the morning," Arthur informed. "When do you rise normally?" "Whenever I please," Mila shook her head dramatically and a laugh escaped Arthur's lips. Mila wanted to turn and see how he looked when laughing, but she couldn't. Though Rah had no effect of being exposed to her face, she didn't know if Arthur too would react that way. And she really didn't wish to enchant him, not just yet! "Try to wake before 5

CHAPTER 8

Mila took a step back and sighed. Arthur turned too but she was not going to wait. The sun had risen properly now, and she could see Rah coming down towards her hut with a plate in his hands."I will go now," Mila spoke and went to her hut, leaving Arthur stunned."Wait," he shouted, agitated."What?" Mila turned but didn't reply. Even Arthur was speechless. He was trying to make out her face, she could tell. "Good you are awake and alive," Rah laughed as he approached Mila. "And why are you covered in mud again, you are exceptionally beautiful without it, did you know?"As Mila shrugged, he added, "I am glad you are not stinking today." He went inside the hut and place the plate on the counter."Yesterday I was covered in sewer mud, you know," Mila laughed as he came back out to talk to her. "Today, of your land.""Ah, our land... it smells the best," Rah grinned and inhaled heavily to glance around the beautiful horizon, but felt his breath hitch as he saw Arthur standing there.Ar

CHAPTER 9

Mila's senses were on high alert. She was feeling extremely bothered. The way Chloe clung to Arthur's body, said a lot. But if Chloe was the one who was permitted to touch him, why was he approaching her?"You fight very well," someone spoke from behind. Mila turned and found Tony. Like a lost puppy, he had come to her."And you don't fight well at all," Mila snapped.Tony just smiled, reminding Mila that he was under her influence. In all Arthur's drama, she had forgotten about him."You look sad," Tony purred lightly."Aren't you supposed to train these men in Arthur's absence?" Mila asked."We all deserve a break," Tony grinned like a stupid. Mila looked back, Arthur's men were just chatting and standing idly."Fine," Mila snapped and started to walk away, but Tony suddenly grabbed her hand. " Don't go there, they are arguing," Tony spoke urgently.Tony was concentrating and Mila knew he was using his wolf's ears to eavesdrop. Mila too shifted to a side, where she was hidden from

CHAPTER 10

Mila maintained her distance from Arthur in the coming days. She yearned for his company, for his presence, but she knew she was better off without him. She could tell Arthur too was missing her, he was often seen looking for her. She went to every single training session, but observed from a distance, hidden in shadows. He could fight really well, there was no doubt in it, but he lacked focus. Mila saw him practice with bow and arrows, sword, spear, and even a morning star. Everyday they trained for five-six hours where Arthur practice with every single men in his command, and by the end of it, he always asked, "Has anyone seen Mila Grace?""If I didn't know better, I would have thought you were here to steal my mate," a voice chuckled. Mila turned and saw Chloe standing on top of the stairs, stairs that overlooked Mila's hiding position.Mila had her face covered with a scarf and was wearing gloves and socks to ensure no glint of her skin was visible."Verrucas," Mila muttered und
