Third person's POV,He was walking back down the stairs after taking a bath when he heard the sound of someone coughing harshly, and that made him whisked down the stairs in the blink of an eye.He didn't know what was going on but he knew he couldn't let her choke to death, that's not how she's supposed to die, he thought to himself as he whisked into the kitchen. When he entered the kitchen and saw that she was sprawled on the floor, but was no longer coughing, he dashed towards her, but he saw that her eyes were beginning to close slowly."Shit! she's not dead is she?" He yelled before he tried to check if she was still breathing. He placed his index finger under her nose, but she wasn't breathing, so he placed two fingers by the side of her neck to check for a pulse, and found one even though it was so slow, and was barely even there. He looked up to see a half-eaten steak on the table. The same steak he had just grilled a few minutes ago. he had only grilled it because he thought

Darhl's POV,When I returned downstairs I heard her trying to make breakfast in the kitchen, which made me think of the steaks she grilled last night. She couldn't eat them probably because it was bad, so I went into the kitchen and decided to make her one.She was sitting on the kitchen table, eating her cereal when I walked in."Good morning," I said to her and then she looked at me with furrowed eyebrows while asking what could be good about the morning."What's good about the morning, " she said back annoyance apparent in her voice, but I ignored her.I'm not usually this considerate, but I find myself always letting her off the hook with the kind of attitude she gives me. I headed to the fridge, opened it and took out a pack of steak, and started to prepare it.By the time I finished grilling the meat, she had already finished eating her cereals but she didn't get up to leave. When the meat was done grilling, I removed it from the oven and set the tray in front of me on the table.

Glamour's POV,***Previously ***The next morning, I woke up before Maya and got into the shower for a quick hot bath. when I was done, I came back inside the room and put on one of my baggy sweatshirts before going downstairs to greet mom and dad. However, when I dropped down the stairs, the first person I saw was Hamdi, who seems to be returning from a morning run, in his singlets and joggers."Good morning Dee," I greeted."Good morning Munchkin," he answered back and I glared at him because he knew just how much I hated been called that by him, but he just wouldn't listen."Where is mom," I asked him but he only shrugs saying he hadn't seen her this morning.I was about to go back upstairs to go check if mom and dad were in their room but then Hamdi stopped me with a question that I wasn't sure I was going to be able to answer.***chapter begins***"Why did you get married without my knowledge," Hamdi said in a rough voice, and I could hear the feeling of being hurt from his voice

Glamour's POVI and Hamdi stayed at the lake for a while, my mood going from sad to being happy from watching all the couples that were also at the lake.Hamdi didn't stay out long, he went back into the car to receive a call. I stood by the lake, hugging my hands to myself while watching every other person that was there.I don't know how long I stood by the lake. Hamdi came to stand quietly next to me for a while, before asking me where I met Darhl.I was quiet for a while because I don't know if I could tell him the truth about where I met him. Well, technically I met him on the day I was getting married because that night at the club I only saw him from a distance and not met him."When did you guys meet, how long have you been keeping him a secret," Hamdi spoke again after I didn't answer for a while.I know I couldn't tell him we met just a few weeks ago, because then I would have to tell him why I'm getting married to someone I met less than a month ago because then I'll have t
