“I’m sorry, are you still angry at me?” Richard asked softly, taking slow steps towards Emily, who stood at the balcony. Her eyes were fixed to the beach area where different people were having fun. Tears welled up in her eyes as the wind danced together with her hair.“Emily?” Richard called again, placing his hands on her waist and swirling her around to face him.“I’m sorry. I didn’t mean to act in the way I did yesterday. I was only off after I spoke with Barbara”, Richard apologized again, peering intently into her eyes that were mixed with both fury and confusion.Emily took in a deep breath and gulped down hard. She had no right to be angry at him because she was only a mere maid.“I have no right to be mad at you”, Emily whispered, with her eyes lowered to the ground.“Of course you have a right to be. I apologize for acting that way yesterday”, Richard apologized genuinely, placing quick kisses on her neck.Emily took in another deep breath and peered into her eyes.Yesterda

The sound of the running shower and some giggling filled the air around the hotel room of Richard. He was having the greatest time of his life with his maid, and he had no regret about it.“Do you think we made the baby already?” Emily asked with wide smiles on her face, gently scrubbing Richard’s chest with the sponge she held in her hand.Richard chuckled and dug his hands into her full dark hair.“We did it well in the room, right? Let’s be positive”, he replied and placed a soft kiss on her forehead.Emily giggled again and pulled him into a warm hug.“Do you love me?” She asked Richard. His heart stopped for a moment, and swiftly he pulled her back to peer into her eyes.“Do you love me?” Emily asked again, with her heart beating out of her chest and her soul waiting for a positive answer.“I like you so much, goddess. I mean, my life have changed for good ever since you came into my life”, Richard said and cupped her cheeks into his palms.“You are everything I need and that is

The flight back home was unusually quiet and weird for both Emily and Richard. They only glanced at each other at intervals, as though communicating with only their eyes.Emily refused to eat anything that was offered to her, and this troubled Richard.“You shouldn’t starve because of something that doesn’t make sense”, Richard advised, with a slight frown on his face.Emily scoffed and shot him a dead glare. She was beginning to wonder if he had a split personality identity. One moment, he would become so sweet and loving, and the next moment, he is talking to her as though they’ve never had a conversation before. Or, as though, they didn’t just get done with exploring each other’s body.A loud sigh escaped Emily’s lips again as she lowered her eyes to the floor, trying to conceal the fact that she was in tears.“Something that doesn’t make sense?” She whispered and chuckled slightly. He suddenly turned sour after a phone call, and everything she did to know what happened proved abor

It was 5:30am when Emily heard a knock on her door. She stirred on the bed and glanced towards the door, wondering who it was by that time and what the person wanted. It was quite strange, especially because Barbara and Richard always communicated to her through the use of telephone. She stood to her feet and walked towards the door, slightly hoping that it would be Richard.Emily wanted to set her eyes on him again, to pull him into a warm hug and inhale his sweet cologne. She stopped right in her tracks when she met Barbara, standing firmly and smiling at her in a weird and ridiculous manner.“Barbara?” She thought silently as her eyes shot open, every bit of sleep leaving her eyes in the process.“Hello”, Barbara greeted, with a wide grin that terrified Emily.Emily gulped down hard, trying so hard to stop her legs from feeling wobbly. “Good day ma’am”, she greeted Barbara, pushing the door slightly opened and coming out to meet her.“No, I came to visit you today”.Barbara walke

“Where are you coming from by this time?” Richard’s voice boomed into Barbara’s ears, making her stop right in her tracks in surprise. She smiled widely when she saw him standing at the front of his room door, with his hands folded to his chest and a massive scowl on his face.“Did you come to check up on me already?” She said calmly, smiling widely and taking slow steps towards him.“Barbara! Where are you coming from?”Barbara had stayed in the house all through the night. In fact, she tried seducing him and laying with him. When Richard kept resisting, she had left the room angrily, banging the door after her and cursing him under her breath. And this morning, she was coming back with a wicked smile on her face.It wasn’t coincidence ; Richard was sure about that.Barbara sighed deeply and started making her way into Richard’s room. She pushed him aside and went straight to his bed.Once she was on the bed, she gestured for him to come closer.Richard stayed still, unwilling to mov
