Luca’s POV When we finally arrived in New York, Sofia was fast asleep– had just fallen asleep about an hour ago, which was why I had to carry her in my arms as I alighted the plane, her time panties stuffed deep inside my pocket. I knew she was going to pout sadly at me whenever she wakes up and realized that she didn’t get to take in how New York looked as she was alighting the plane, but I just couldn’t bring myself to wake up because of how peaceful she looked.A few cars were already waiting, I got into one in between the two car, which belonged to my guards. There was no way I clumd go anywhere without my guards, for protection, although now that we were all away from home, they were all going to be as de secret as possible in other not to draw any kind of attention towards Sofia and I. Sofia had clung to me after I had settled into the car, still fast asleep and I hadn’t been able to bring myself to lay her on the chair in order to attend ti some important calls, and so I

James pov The girl who was sent from hell, who still had her mouth gapping open like a fish that was struggling to breathe, like it was taking her ages to process the fact that she had just ruined my outfit and that it was a very bad thing entirely to be on the receiving end of my anger. It was like everything snapped into places for her in the next second because she was scrambling to her feet and hurrying towards me, with eyes widened like saucers. She barely glanced up at me and instead went straight to my ruined inner shirt and then she began – she began to scrub her hands which I noticed were trembling, against my inner shirt. A part of hands that was covered in dirt and also – blood? She was only making matters worse, my burnt brown inner white shirt was now w dirt brown and coffee brown, along with different smear of blood seeing as she kept on scrubbing at the shirt, like even if her hands were clean, it was going to be possible to get to coffee stains out of it that w

Sofia’s pov “How are you this stunning?” I turned around as soon as I had heard Luca’s voice to see him staring at me from the other side of the room, wth his hands deep in his pockets as he looked me up and down with a burning heat brewing inside his eyes. I grinned and rolled my eyes a little.“I have no idea of what you’re talking about.” I finally responded as I turned around to continue applying my eyeliner and mascara. It was a good thing I knew how to do my eye makeup on my own, because I know that I always have to look good as the wife of Luca. Once I was done with my eyes, I was applying some gloss on my lips when Luca came to stand behind me and I shivered a little when his hard body pressed against me from behind. I glanced at him in the mirror before me and bit on my bottom lip when he slide his hands around my hips and up to thumb my nipples a little. He finally settled them on my hips and whispered a low ‘fuck’ in my ear that made me swallow down a whimper.“You’re

Sofia’s pov I wasn’t the only female around the table right now, there were a few other women sitting beside who I’d presume as their husbands, and I instantly noticed that they were older than I am. They kept regarding me with unreadable expression and as expected, i acted like I couldn’t feel their eyes on me.I noticed when one of the men offered a cigarette to Luca which he declined, and almost immediately, he was offered something that was wrapped in brown paper that I knew produced smoke as well. Luca accepted it but didn’t lit it. He was offered drink which he accepted and cradled in his hand, but I was very sure he wasn’t going to be tasting it. After that, all the men around the table fell into a conversation that I wouldn’t even be able to understand why if i had paid all my attention to it, all I knew was that they were talking about some wears and other things which I didn’t waste time in tuning out. I glanced around after that I was quick to avert my gaze from a sc

Luca’s POV I had headed to the club tonight, although knowing it was dangerous, more dangerous than what usually goes down in my clubs back in Italy – but I hadn’t expected a fight as heated as that to break lose. Thanks to Sofia who had alerted me when she had done.I tugged her against me and stroked her hair, and then I thumbed her cheek after a moment. She was blinking up at me, and even though she had said she was okay na m st the club, I knew she wasn’t, I could feel just how fast her heart was still racing right now.“How did you notice the gun being pointed at the table we were situated at?” I asked her after a moment. “Oh, that was because I was bored and was just staring around, and then I noticed it.” She responded and I stroked her cheeks some more.“Those people were assassins, bunny.” “Really?” She asked as she blinked up at me and I hummed. “Yes, bunny. And assassins are really dangerous people, they’re trained to kill and they’re very good st it. I’m so impre
