“ I am Amaira, the seer of the future and the seventh guardian pillar of the white witches born and raised by the first witch who descended on this very land,” replied the woman with her hand placed on her bosom as she introduced herself in a voice which was both mystical and entrancing. “ I am one of the oldest witches who walks on this very land, my sister has unfortunately fallen in the hands of the black-hearted ones leaving me alone to protect this land while the ones who managed to get away with their lives moved to another land which was protected against those whose heart is black.” She curled her lips into a smile before she lowered her head and then continued speaking, “ When you were born, the dark and the light witches and wizards were in a war, I was called for I can see the future. During the war, I over-exerted myself causing great damage to my powers and eyes, which led to my body getting sealed away by my comrades. I promised your mother that I will protect you natur

Levy frowned when she heard that her father had the blood of a mage as well, “ That is impossible, there is no way that man might have the blood of a witch or wizard .” Amaira tilted her head as she looked at Levy with slight bewilderment on her face as she asked in a misty sort of voice, “ What makes you think so?” “ He had always taken pride in being a full-blooded shifter if he had an ounce of magic in his blood, I am afraid that he would have killed himself first,” Levy was this sure because she knew how much her father despised witches and wizards, till this day he announced to the world that he was hoodwinked by her mother by a love potion and only under the influence of that potion did he give birth to two children with her if not he would have married his mate. “ Hmm, I am afraid that is not the case,” the woman replied with a humming sound. Levy then gulped and asked the guardian, “ Are you really certain that my blood is superior to yours maybe you are making a mistake?”

However, when Eduard raised his head, he was surprised to see Logan chucking as he covered the front of his mouth with his fist and then looked at him with amusement brimming in his eyes. “ Did you watch a horror movie? Is this why you are dreaming in daylight? How can a ghost attack you when it’s morning?” Logan asked the young submissive wolf, surely he was one of a kind. This was why he never bothered the submissive wolves, they either cried or were scared silly whenever he raised his temper at them, if not for teaching Moira and Greta a lesson he would have never bothered this man. Look at this just a bit of teasing and he was scared until he was dreaming of being attacked by a ghost. Maybe he did traumatise this poor soul a bit too much. When he thought about it, Logan placed his hand on Eduard’s shoulder and patted him slightly before asking in a slow voice, “ Did you dream? If so then tell me what happened carefully. If there is really a ghost then I will deal with it.” Edu

The meeting which Logan had arranged arrived pretty soon, as the ex-councilwoman of the wizard association, Carla Ruth stayed in a lavish house which was located near a small village which was full of life and activities. Children were playing by the river which was clean and transparent catching fish while a small bell over the school which was built not far from the houses of the village was ringing as the children dressed in uniforms rushed out to play. The bell rang for a long time even when Levy and Logan drove past the school, she could still hear the ringing of the bell. As Levy looked at the plush greenery and silence she wished that when she left the pack she will leave in a place like this —— it was calm and peaceful, after so many ups and down the thing that she craved the most was nothing but peace. The two of them came to a stop at the house which was located just near the lake, with an elongated porch which overlooked the river and had a fishing rod perched on the side

But his words were interrupted by the sound of footsteps, as the scent of his mate hit him, Logan stopped speaking. He did not wish to tell Levy about this, he wished that she will forgive him for his actions before finding out that there was something wrong with him in the past, if not then he was afraid that even though she will forgive him —— it won’t be because she wanted but because she had to. Carla seemed to have realised what was going on as well which was why she also closed her mouth and did not say anything when Levy finally stepped inside the room, she was surprised to see that both Carla and Logan were sitting side by side without speaking instead they had their eyes closed and seemed to be meditating. The atmosphere around the two of them was really weird as she stepped closer to Carla, the elderly woman opened her eyes and then raised her head as she took the book which Levy was carrying in her hands. “ Thank you, I think this will do. Everyone wants to know answers t
