In her entire life she had been preparing for this day. She always knew that she was never going to be able to choose whom to marry because she was a woman and a princess of nephus kingdom the ruler of the human race. She didn’t have the right to choose. Hell, she didn't have any rights at all. Her opinions and feelings didn't matter to anyone, not even her own family. In fact, her father viewed me as a tool to gain more power, to create an alliance with the most powerful kingdom in the lands. But this time it was also for peace making between the werewolf and the human. She was going to be the sacrifice of peace. By marrying her off to one of their princes."For a prince and princess, the kingdom comes first," Father said. Your desire for something comes after."Yes, right. It could for a prince, but not for a princess. If a prince married for alliance and didn't like his wife, he could just marry another. Usually most of them had one mate and several mistresses, but for a princess t

2. Have Many Mistresses

A deep, quiet sigh escaped Tiana’s lips when everyone started to quickly move and disperse. She couldn't believe how quickly the hall became empty. Her husband offered his hand to her again. Of course, Tiana already prepared herself for this. She was going to the silver moon pack in the northern region, the strongest pack in the land of werewolf land, right after the wedding.A little shaky, Tiana placed her hand in his. Her eyes were hot but she swore not to tear up. She looked at her mother as the werewolf prince led her towards the door.Tiana looked away, focusing on the path before her instead. As the newlyweds reached the door, she halted and looked back one last time. She subconsciously gripped her husband's hand before she turned to him and finally stepped forward. This was all she could do from here on out; to bravely walk into her future, one step at a time, to find out what destiny had in store for her. They rode home in silence. She hated it because it made her nervous and

3. Nightmare

Nicklaus looked at the woman in front of him. She looked so scared and timid. He wondered if she was scared for the obvious reasons or if she was scared because she had heard the rumors about him. Either way, he didn't blame her. Most people feared him, even his own father the alpha. He never dared to look his son in the eyes. Nicklaus always wondered what he had done to make his father fear him.He knew he was different. He had even scared himself when he was a little boy and had discovered what he could do. When he, for the first time, moved an object with just a thought, or when he had wished his brother could burn, and then suddenly his brother's clothes were on fire. Everyone ran to help him get out of the flaming clothes. That day he had been so scared he ran to his room where he sat in a corner crying, wishing he could talk to someone about it. But who? His father feared and hated him; he would just scare him even more, and his mother was dead. He wondered how she would react.

4. Defending Him

All princes and their first wives were invited to have dinner with the alpha. When they arrived, the alpha welcomed them and they greeted him in turn; then the princes greeted one another amongst themselves. While the princes chatted and laughed (except Nicklaus), the princesses just glared at each other. There was some kind of hostility between them.Nicklaus didn't go up to his brothers, he just stood beside Tiana. None of them seemed to care about him, either. He had told her earlier that they didn't like him because he was the son of the of forbidden creature. She wondered if they really believed that kind of blasphemy. Why did he say that he didn't know if he actually was the son of the something not know? Before her head imploded with questions, dinner was served and they sat down in their assigned places. Each prince sat beside his wife. The Crown Prince was sitting next to the king, and they were talking about something animatedly, waving their hands around wildly. His wife Am

5. Decide The Punishment

Nicklaus aided her in getting off the horse, but as soon as she shifted her weight onto her leg, her knee started to ache. Not wanting to draw attention she didn't say anything, but Nicklaus must have known because he put his strong arms behind her knees and back and lifted her with ease. "What are you doing?" Tiana asked, embarrassed. "Carrying you," he stated simply. "I know that, please put me down. I can walk," she said, her face and neck flushing red. "Wife, if I were to let you walk, we wouldn't reach the room even after sunrise and I would like to get some sleep." Did he just call me wife? She liked the sound of it. As they moved through the halls, the maids and servants looked down quickly as soon as they caught sight of them, and Tiana was thankful for that. He stopped for a while and told a maid to bring something to clean the wound before walking again. Upon arrival at their chambers, he put Tiana down on the bed gently as a maid came in with things to clean the woun

6. Punishment

His voice, his scent, the warmth from his body, all filled her senses and made her unable to think clearly. Before she knew it he was carrying her to their chamber, and then laid her down on the bed. Bed? Wait, no! He lay down beside her and when Tiana tried to get up, he put an arm around her shoulders and held her down."Lay still and let me hold you," he said, taking his arm away from her shoulders and putting them around her waist instead."Why?""Because I like holding you and you like it when I do it," he replied."And how would you know?" Tiana said, a teasing lilt to her voice."What? You don't like it?"Tiana was afraid that if she said she liked it he would want to take it to the next level, but she didn't want to lie either."It's... alright," she said cautiously, a shy smile making its way to her face. He grabbed Tiana’s chin and made her turn around to face him."Is my touch just alright?" Letting go of her chin and traced with his fingers down her neck and up her shoul

7. Let Me Have You

"You are not the only one who wants to treat someone well," Tiana said stubbornly, ignoring the pain his grip caused. He looked at her for a while. The flames in his eyes slowly dying and their color becoming blue again. He let go of her neck and looked down as if regretting what he had just done."You should... take your shirt off," she said.Walking back to the bed, he ripped his shirt open, showing a perfectly toned stomach and chest. The muscles in his arm twitched as he lay down on the bed."Are you just going to stare?" he asked. Embarrassed, Tiana hurried to the bed, sat down, and started cleaning his wounds. This was horrible. The wounds seemed deep and they would probably leave scars on his back. It must have hurt a lot. Was his family always so cruel to him? And she had thought her family were too cruel. Tiana wondered what his childhood was like. Was he always like this? Rejected by his family, bullied and punished? He must have been so lonely."Why are you crying?" A tear

8. I Burn You?

"Tiana” Tiana!" Nicklaus called, his voice filled with pain and agony. Was he in pain? No, he couldn't be. She couldn't be hearing this, but she heard my name again "Tiana". Maybe all this wasn't in her head, maybe he was calling for her. she climbed down from the bed, put her robe on, and trailed out of the room."Where is His Highness?" she asked two guards walking through the hall."I am sorry Your Highness, but we can't tell you. He doesn't want to be disturbed."Disturbed? So she would disturb him?Of course, he was having fun with his mistress, and here she was worried about him for nothing. Tiana decided not to worry or care anymore and went back to bed.Opening her eyes with a yawn she scanned her surroundings. Nicklaus was sitting in front of the mirror and a maid was combing his hair. Her fingers caressed his cheek and neck when she tried to gather some strands of his hair. Tiana could see that she didn't touch him accidentally, she was doing it on purpose. Disturbed by her

9. Death Is Coming

A shiver went down her spine. The way he said it and the look in his eyes told her he was serious."Why are you shocked? If I can beat you and kill you then why not burn you?"Tiana’s throat went dry and she couldn't bring herself to say something. Sighing, he stood up and left without a word.Tiana didn't see him for the rest of the day. He didn't come for breakfast or lunch and when it was time for dinner she asked one of the guards where he was."His Highness went on a business journey, he won't return until tomorrow," He explained.Even if he was angry, he should have told her. Yet another night she slept alone, but instead of feeling relieved, she felt lonely. When she woke up in the morning the first thing that came to her mind was Nicklaus. Was he still on his journey or had he already arrived?"Has his highness come yet?" she asked the maid while she combed her hair."No your highness" Tiana sighed in disappointment. What if he was still angry and decided not to come?A knock

10. Hurt

Death is coming…’The note was written by blood."What are you doing here?" suddenly Nicklaus was in the study."What is this note?" Tiana asked."It's nothing," he said taking it from her and putting it back."Is someone threatening you or is it a joke?" she asked worriedly."It's nothing you need to worry about," he said grabbing her wrist and dragging her out of the study. He had a worried look on his face which told her that there was definitely something going on."Did you like my present?" he asked before she could ask any further questions."Yes, but why? I thought you were angry with me" "I was and I still am," he said leading the way to the dining room "sit down and let's eat."Tiana did as he said. He had that aura that signaled danger again. He sat opposite her and when their eyes met she could see flames in them, they weren't calm. Something was definitely different about him, maybe there is something to the rumors."How did you bring Sandra and Margret?" Tiana really wan
