Chapter 1 - That One Night
ALIANA'S POV"Oh! The gorgeous Aliana Reeves is here." I roll my eyes and smile as Richie and Nadia sit beside me at the bar counter. "So, how was your shoot? That was one hell of a brand, girl! I was so proud when you told me," says Nadia after sipping from her strawberry daiquiri."It went fine. We just finished shooting for all the advertisements yesterday," I answered, signaling the bartender to give me another glass of blue margarita."Aren't you in talks about a new drama, too? I heard that from my senior. I'm surprised you were able to come here. I can imagine how packed your schedule is." Richie dramatically put the back of his hand on his forehead. I laugh. "Of course, you know I won't miss it. There were paparazzi everywhere I went, so I immediately said yes when Stanley invited me and told me there would be strictly no media."Also, Vicky, my manager, has been stricter with me ever since we started receiving more projects. I was happy about that, but I can't help but see

Chapter 2 - The Magazine
ALIANA'S POV"Hmm," I moan, half-asleep with my eyes partially open because of the sunlight striking my face. I can feel that parts of my body are heavy as I move. A bit of confusion appears when I feel an arm around my waist tighten from my sudden action.I immediately opened my eyes and saw a man beside me. The tip of his nose rests on my right cheek as he sleeps soundly. His lashes and brows make me envious as a woman, while his messy jet-black hair defines the manliness of his look. My sight traveled down to his naked chest, and instead of admiring the view, I gasped, realizing I had no piece of clothing on, too. Panic suddenly enveloped my whole being. I immediately scanned the room—polished wooden tile, white satin sheets, cream-colored bedside table with gold and glitter accents, elegant and defining white bedside lamps, white furry carpet, detailed high-end ceilings, and long sheer curtains.Where the hell am I?I tried my best to unravel the arm around my waist without ma

Chapter 3 - The Major Sponsor
ALIANA'S POV"Here's your food!"Andy gave me my Caesar salad. We are currently in the dressing room preparing for my appearance on a talk show. Several minutes from now, the artists will arrive to do my makeup. Andy wanted to make sure I had already eaten before that. Vicky is reviewing the questions beforehand and giving me bits of advice for answering them."We've already informed the media that you won't be giving comments about Josh and Chantal, so I am sure they won't be asking you about that later," Vicky says.I nodded, looking at Andy's burger and fries while I chewed my food. Andy seems to notice that and looks at Vicky, who is still busy reading the papers. She then went closer to me and whispered, "Do you want to eat a burger and fries? I can ask Ma'am Vicky out, so she won't notice you eating some."I chuckled and shook my head. "I don't want you to be in trouble again," I whispered back, smiling.I really appreciate Andy's thoughtfulness towards me. The management, espe

Chapter 4 - The Confrontation
ALIANA'S POV "Aliana! Look here!" "One more shot, Miss Aliana!" "Strike a pose!" "Elegant!" I smiled facing different directions to satisfy every photographer on the red carpet. I posed as glamorous as I could despite the blinding flashes of cameras. Garnet Gala was among the most prestigious balls attended by many artists and influencers to raise funds for cancer patients in chosen hospitals and communities. These past weeks were so busy for my designer but the outcome turned out good. I walked the red carpet with my deep v-neck rose gold sequined mermaid dress. My hair is tied in a slick back bun. I blew the crowd a kiss and turned back to enter the venue with a smirk on my face because of the loud cheers that I got as feedback from my sudden action. "There you are! Ricky Jennings really never fails in his designs," Richie exclaimed, praising my designer for my dress."Where's Nadia?" I asked."Ugh... Just there... interviewing other guests for her assigned article. That woma

Chapter 5 - The Annoyance
ALIANA'S POV“I feel sticky,” I said, my eyes almost falling. I looked at the man driving beside me. His black shirt was folded below his elbows. His nose looked more defined by the street lights we passed by. He didn't even mind my complaint. I rolled my eyes. I was too persistent not to go home a while ago and I tried drinking another shot but he was stopping me so I accidentally spilled it on myself. And that's when his patience broke and I wasn't able to do anything but go with him in his car. “Where are we going?”“To my penthouse.” “Why are we going to your penthouse?” I asked while holding my aching head.“You said you don't want to go home.”“But why to your penthouse?”“Give me your address then. I'll drive you home.”I didn't answer him and just rolled my eyes. I can't be alone tonight. I know very well that I'll just overthink. It might be the reason the universe gave me this man tonight. When we got there, a valet approached us and Kievan helped me stand. I won't be ab
