The Mage could hear someone coming into the basement. He quickly rushed out to divert whoever it was to avoid seeing Sophie and Lance in their state of transition."You are already here?" Alpha Jones boomed as he came down. "It seems we are having the same thoughts" he scoffed."If you are thinking about coming to sleep in one of the cells. I will like to tell you that our thoughts are completely different" the Mage tried to joke but it sounded weird. "That.. that was meant to be a joke" he stuttered."I catch it, old man" Alpha Jones moved to his front and held one of his shoulders. He pressed him hard with his hand. "You have really grown old, Mage. Old enough to appear shaky and tensed every minute" he teased him.The Mage tried to compose himself. He wouldn't want Alpha Jones finding out about what he was doing with Sophie and Lance."Nature is to be blamed for that" he chuckled softly and quickly stopped before it would become awkward."What are you doing in here?" Alpha Jones as

"Send me in, now!" Alpha Jones insisted. The Mage didn't move. He didn't want to do it."That's alright" Lance walked out of the circle again. "The stone of Kitana has been delivered. Good news, your sweet lady is coming home" he announced.Sophie sneezed, she opened her eyes and looked around in surprise."You told him?" she questioned the Mage."Thank goodness, you're back" the Mage heaved a sigh of relief.Alpha Jones only stared at Sophie. He was full of anger but a part of him also felt better that Sophie was back."You think, I am not coming back?" Sophie questioned again. She was obviously clueless about their awkward faces which loosely translated that something was wrong."Seems like you have no idea that you were stuck in there" the Mage moved close to her, examining her."I was not stuck. I was searching for his secrets about the stone" she clarified. "Is that why you both look worried?" she faced Alpha Jones."I told you she was preoccupied, not stuck" Lance moaned."I to

Lance hid beside a shrub. He held his breath as Alpha Nolan's men walked past him."They are gone" he said silently and heaved a sigh of relief. He groaned as he tried pulling out the dagger stuck in his back.He finally got it out and dropped it on the ground.A strange hand gave him a piece of cloth to clean himself. He took the cloth, cleaned the blood on him. He looked up to see who it was."Damn!" he groaned as he saw Alpha Nolan's men standing over him"Can you walk?" one of them asked him."I can't" he replied weakly."Good. That means you are going to die where you are" the men snapped at him."Wait, where is Alpha Nolan?" he asked and stared at them one after the other. "He's gone. You must have heard that I am the summoner. Do you know what a summoner does?" he smiled at them."You summon dead people, isn't it?" one of the men asked in response."Yes. You all have people that you love that are dead. I can bring them back for you" he assured them."But they can only be back f

Sophie checked her body. She couldn't find the pendant anymore. She began searching around frantically."Are you looking for something?" Alpha Jones approached her."The pendant, I think I have lost it while running down here" she relayed sadly."I don't think we need to worry about that anymore" he turned to their new companions. " Our new friends already know where Alpha Nolan is right now after their infiltration" he said loudly."We haven't found him, we only infiltrated the soldiers that attacked you" one of them replied slowly."What if there is another way to locate him?" Lance asked loudly with a smiling face. It seemed he knew much about their problem."What are you talking about?" David tackled him"I'm talking about taking the pendant out of where I hid it" he laughed."You are the one who stole it?" David asked with anger written all over his faces."Stole? No. Your Luna lost it because she didn't know it's worth and I found it. I have hidden it somewhere safe" he snorted

Lance rushed into the open area and heaved a sigh of relief."We finally made it" he said happily. They had just gotten out of the woods after a lot of efforts, round journeys and all."So where is the pendant?" David wasted no time."The pendant, yeah. The pendant is right where I hid it" he chuckled.Sophie, Alpha Jones and David stared at each other in confusion."Hand the pendant over now" Alpha Jones said sternly."That's not possible, all I can give you is the exact place where I hid it. You can go back some other time and retrieve it" he replied confidently."You are always you, Lance. You breached the agreement" Alpha Jones scoffed and shook his head."No. The agreement is to give you the pendant and I will tell you where it is right now" he retorted."I know how to get what we need from him. Just give me some minutes with him" David pleaded with Alpha Jones."He's all yours" Alpha Jones nodded.David put on a smile and moved slowly towards Lance."You are not going to kill me
