Lahat ng Kabanata ng Their Human : Kabanata 71 - Kabanata 80

"She's been glued to him since she heard his heart beating." "Is he fine, though? Did he wake up at all in the middle of the night?""He hasn't woken up yet, but he's doing really well. I believe that he will have a speedy recovery."I slowly opened my eyes, feeling my body shiver from coldness. I let out a silent yawn as I stared at the ceiling, remembering that I had fallen asleep in my training room. My arms were tightly locked around Silas, and they were refusing to let him go.My hand made its way to his heart, a smile forming on my face when I felt it beating with a strong force. It was as if he had been alive this whole time. His skin was warmer, and he looked less pale. I was so relieved that he was okay.I kissed his chest lightly and snuggled deeper into his body. I never wanted to let him go ever again.I won't let him go."Akielia, you need to move." Kaiser said to me. I ignored him and shut my eyes, refusing to do what he had just said. "He needs to heal properly. How wi

Silas looked back at the door in confusion. "What do you think that?" He only asked, looking at me once again. I shrugged, feeling slightly disappointed that I was even thinking about this. "I don't know, but that human seems to know him, and she's pretty sure that Alexander will choose her over me.""Human?" Silas asked."She's there only for his feeding, but I think she has a crush on him."Silas leaned down my height, making my breath hitch. I backed away to the wall, and he followed me, his hands landing next to my head on either side of me. "Now, who would be stupid enough to choose some human bloodbag over you? Such perfection." He asked lowly. I closed my eyes, thinking of random and weird things to stop the heat that was burning my body from his closeness.I wonder if flies have personalities. "Remember that I once was a human bloodbag... and I promised that nothing romantic would happen between us." I told him softly. Chills ran down my body when I felt his cold lips grazing

I rushed out of my office and charged for the stairs, my heart beating rapidly the closer I got to the blood source. Bile rose up my throat when I shoved the double doors open, nearly ripping them from their hinges. I came to a standstill, looking around the living room. I circled around the black leather sofas and there it was. A creature, laying on the floor, clearly dead. I clenched my jaw and looked around the room, finding no signs of anyone having been there. I walked towards the dead body. It was a werewolf this time. She had been one of the few creatures that helped with medical related situations. She was the one that made sure to update me on how the pixie I woke up had been. I fell on my knees and observed her carefully. My hand landed on her forehead, feeling that it was still warm. This was a recent murder. I had known for a while that this was a serious situation, but I never imagined that it was this dire. The killer was now in my own home, and they had manag

"How do we use her to win against Silas?" Sapphire asked, the sound of clinking plates following.I pressed my hand over my heart to keep it from beating too loudly. I couldn't believe my ears. Alexander and Sapphire were plotting against Silas and I was the key to their plan."He's in love with her. If we could just get her to convince him to back out of this, maybe he would listen." Alexander suggested."Do you think she will?" "She's already guilty because she cheated on me with him. If I could just get them to go further than kiss... Maybe have sex and catch her in the act. We can use that against her.""You mean threaten to expose her for infidelity?" Sapphire asked. "And when did this kiss happen?""Exactly. She knows that the creatures would hate her for this, and all she wants to be is a good queen. If she realized that she would lose her crown if Silas becomes king then...""She'll try to convince him to stop." "Exactly." Alexander said. "It's foolproof.""Hold on. Silas lo

"Four, five!""One, two, three, four, five!""One more time.""...two, three, four."I felt a continuous pressure over my chest, my body immediately responding as I felt everything I had consumed leave my mouth. I turned to the side as water ran through my throat, and I threw it all up. I coughed loudly, my senses slowly returning to me. I could feel a warm hand running over my shoulders, attempting to comfort me.I opened my eyes, seeing nothing but darkness. "My rose, are you alright?" I heard Silas ask me quickly. I was lifted up and placed against a solid chest. I had no doubt that it belonged to him.A gust of cold wind stroked my drying skin, making me shiver."Her lips are blue. We need to get her back home immediately." I heard someone else speak. I also recognized the voice, but I was surprised to hear him here."Sei?" I asked weakly. I barely saw him kneel in front of me and he held my hand. "I'm here." He said softly, brushing my wet hair off my face."What happened?" I ask
