“Miss Mariah, you have a visitor,”Sally, the maid, informed me, as she stood at the door of my room.There was a confused frown on my face. “A visitor?” I asked her.“Yes, Madam.” Sally had answered curtly.It was odd to have visitors at the Beach House. I lived here alone. Besides the people who worked for me and my Grandfather who lives here part time, it was a lonely place here.
