Daisy's POV Monday proved fulfilling to me as my job hunt came to an end, I have finally gotten a job as a server in a hamburger and chips shop, I'm so glad, finally, I can be earning for myself, there are just four of us that's placed in serving, "Welcome to Freda's Hamburgers and chips, you can change up and begin duty, your shift starts by four", Freda, the owner of the chips and hamburgers said warmly to me, she is a plump lady with freckles splattered all over her face, she looks to be in her forties but I might be wrong, she looks kind and gentle for a boss and I'm glad, who need a tyrant boss anyways?"Mia, the new girl her uniform and show her where to get changed" she hollered and immediately a girl appeared, she smiled at me, "Hello, I'm Mia, come with me please" I followed her as she handed over a yellow and orange colored cloth to me, " this is your uniform and you can change over there," she said, pointing to a cubicle, "...and this is Evans, you both are on the same s

Aires'POV The fight was fierce and long, the woman with a baby in her arms kept running through the seas of dead bodies, "do not worry my child, I'll protect you, I won't let anything happen to you", she crooned, trying to soothe the fussy baby in her arms, she stared back at her husband who was already surrounded by the enemies but he was still fighting bravely, his face fierce, without looking, he knew that his wife was still there, "Run, Ariana, take Aidan away ", tears streamed down from the woman's eyes as she stared at her husband and then her child, "let's go through the secret channel" she whispered to her child, "I'll protect you", her heart thudded with fear of what could happen to her family as she passed through the secret passage that only she and her husband knows about, it led to a river, she quickly wrapped the baby in a blanket, "I can't let your father die, I have to go and help him", she placed a kiss on the baby's forehead, "I'll look for you when this is over,

Aires'POV"Why, oh, why tell me why not me?Why, oh why, we were meant to be,Baby, I know I could be all you need,Why! Oh, why!! Oh, why!!!I wanna love you if you only know how much I love you, Tell me why not me?The song played in my head as I lay in bed with Daisy and watched her sleep, there's no doubt in my mind that I love her but I didn't know how much until I saw her faint after being hit by the ball, I had felt my whole world stand still, I didn't know how I quickly got to her, my world was tilting and for a moment, I felt like strangling Celine, even though she denied having done that on purpose, knowing Celine's hatred for Daisy, I know perfectly well that it was planned, I felt like I had been hit instead of Daisy, I didn't know when she had become so important to me, it's as if, without her near me that I am incomplete, she's part of me and I very much like to be part of her, she had once written her feelings for me in a letter, then, I saw her as too plain and was di

Aires'POVI had watched as she had picked up the picture from the ground, it was a picture I made of my dad and framed it, back when I was still pinning for his affection but on that day that he punished me in the red room, I had walked into my room and looked at the picture with loathe and had turned its face down on my table, I hadn't bothered facing it back up and when Daisy's hand had accidentally hit it on the table and it fell on the ground with a crash, I felt indifferent about it, once upon a time, I would have been so mad at anyone who dares go close to my dad's photo but now, even after he had changed, I still remain skeptical about him, what bothered me is how Daisy reacted when she saw the person on the photograph, she went completely white as a sheet that for a moment, I thought she would pass out,"Are you okay?" I asked worriedly and took another step toward her but she quickly moved backward, her big liquid eyes stared at me for a moment, and the huge hurt I saw there

Daisy's POV I saw him coming out of his office immediately we got there, I couldn't move anymore, I stood still at the entrance of his company, and watched as Aires walked up to him, I studied him from afar, he looks older than I could remember him but he's still handsome, although, Aires bore no resemblance to him, Aires is more or less on his own as he bore no facial resemblance to either his mum or dad, I find that odd a bit but I'm in no position to say who he should resemble, my dad looked up as Aires got closer to him, something flicked in his eyes but it was masked up so quickly that if I hadn't been observing him, I wouldn't have noticed that expression, he smiled at Aires still oblivious of my presence, it seemed to me that his smile didn't quite reach his eyes, perhaps, the state of his wife is taking a huge toil on him, he bent and whispered something into Aires ear and although, I couldn't see Aires expression because his back was turned against me, I noticed that his sho
