“Mother, why?” Su Yuhan asked her Mother so no one to hear.“The Su family and the Chai family will be united by this exchange, or would you rather I arrange for your marriage with Master Blake as I had first intended?” Su Yahun said with a smile.Shock, utter shock was seen on Su Yuhan’s face. Her Mother wanted her to have an arranged marriage with Master Blake? Was he not already married to Chai Xuanlu of the Chai family? Besides, how could she when….“Mother, is this true? You wanted me to be with him? He’s so old.” Su Yuhan protested.“Age does not matter in the cultivation world, my dear only interests. I already received a great wealth that will help the family with my decision to have you as his disciple, and besides, I will be rid of that troublesome brat and his Mother. The horse was a fine steed and will be sorely missed.” Su Yahun said.Su Yuhan couldn’t believe the words coming from her Mother’s mouth. Was she only a commodity to be sold to the highest bidder?“Besides, ha

“Huang is fine, young man. As for me being the Heavenly Dao, we will skip that part. How could you tell?” Huang asked curiously.“Well, since I comprehended the Heavenly Dao earlier, I can feel your presence. It was you who was trying to contain the Heavenly Tribulation my wife experienced when she broke through, wasn’t it?” Blake asked, looking at the old man.“I’m not supposed to be here. It was agreed with the Heavens I was not to interfere with this realm.” Huang said.“I see. A race who can’t create their own Divine Qi without the help of Divine Stones will not be able to ascend, what is the purpose of this?” Blake asked Huang and then asked the most troubling question. “Why are you here looking for Ye Chen?”“Sigh. I was attacked eight years ago, and a part of me fell into this world. I’ve been looking for it ever since. Even now, this is only a part of me. I wanted to merge back with myself and return to the Heavens and seek my revenge upon the person who attacked me back then.

The following day, Blake awoke with Tabby and Tabitha on each side of him in bed. He spent the night with the two, worried over Tabitha’s condition with the Spirit that invaded her. Rising so as not to disturb them, Blake headed to the shower to freshen up for the day. He had an interview with the director of the Central Hospital and wanted to be at his best.Through the night, he was in contact with his clone and found that he had taken in two disciples in the Inner World. Ye Chen and Su Yuhan, along with the breakthroughs of Claire and Helen. After he corresponded with his clone, the best action was to continue with the preparations of the business and teach the young boy his cultivation methods. He would need someone to take over the business and that person would need to be powerful to protect it. Since Ye Chen grew up in the Inner World, he was his best candidate, but since he was also a part of the Heavenly Dao, would Ye Chen settle on staying in the Inner World now? These were

“Sit and tell me everything,” Blake said and quickly was by Tabitha’s side and helped her to the couch. As he guided her, he released his Divine Sense into her to check on the baby.“I’m fine, and the doctor said the baby is fine as well. It’s just….” Tabitha was about to explain when she was interupted by Kelly.“It’s all my fault.” Kelly cried and placed her hands over her face.Blake looked over a the sobbing woman being held by Tabby.“Can you please explain what has happened? As for the baby, he’s fine, very strong and healthy.” Blake said, removing his hand from Tabitha’s wrist.“I went to the cemetery with Miss. Kelly Yiruo to see her child. You remember Susy, the five year old that almost caused us problems after seeing your parents? Well, Kelly, here is her Mother, and we went to see if we could help Susy ascend.” Tabitha began her explanation.Tabitha continued with her explanation without leaving any of the details, including the spirit that had entered her as she was leavi

Blake stood there without any injuries. Looking at the scene like any other bystander, then turned his head to look at the five with a smile.“H_how? How is it that you are fine?” Sir. Aldridge asked.“If you know the enemy and know yourself, you need not fear the result of a hundred battles. If you know yourself but not the enemy, for every victory gained, you will suffer defeat. If you know neither the enemy nor yourself, you will succumb in every battle.” Sun Tzu, The Art of War.” Blake stated, looking at the Holy Order Representative.“I’ll say this once and only once. If you place innocent lives in jeopardy, again, I will not be as kind and let you leave with your lives intact.” Blake said with a stern expression.“No one is innocent if they do not follow the laws of the lord.” Sir. Aldridge said.“Then ignoring one of the first laws is fine by you?” Blake asked, looking at Sir Aldridge like a fool.“The good lord abides by his own laws.” Sir. Aldridge stated and grasped tightly
