As expected, Gwendolyn was already seated inside the courtroom, chatting with Wade Duhamel. After seeing Arthur walk in, as usual Gwendolyn scoffed disdainfully. If she could have her way she could make Arthur disappear from the face of the Earth. That way there would be fewer people like Arthur in the world to trouble people like her. 'What a useless person.' Gwendolyn thought glaring daggers at Arthur. According to Gwendolyn Arthur is the reason Stacey didn't marry a rich heir like she had dreamed. Arthur and Cassandra's negotiations went well.Arthur agreed to revive southern inc, without demanding anything in return, even when Cassandra insisted on giving him ten percent shares in the companies, but Arthur uprightly refused.Arthur wanted nothing in return since he felt bad for making the Cohen family suffer by making their company, southern incs go bankrupt, all because of someone who doesn't even own a share in the company. But more than that, he knew a company like southern incs will be useful in the future. After the negotiations were done, Cassandra left the place a happy person, but before she left, she invited Arthur for dinner at the Cohen's Villa. As expected Arthur turned her down, so she offered to treat him to lunch or dinner some day when he's free, and Arthur agreed on one condition: only if they made it a date, and Cassandra agreed. Why not go on a date? Stacey greeted, as she sat at the dining table next to her Grandmother Gwendolyn."Morning?" Everyone greeted back, almost in unison."How was your night, dear." Victoria asked, as she served Stacey. Stacey's mouth hung open as she watched her mom serve her for the first time in 2 and half years. Her heart melted."It was great." Stacey replied, flashing a brief smile at her mom, she looked at her grandmother and flashed a smile at her, but she got disappointed when Gwendolyn didn't look at her. "One of the bestest nights I've ever had in two years anyways…." Stacey added, stealing another glance at her grandma.'Finally I slept in a quiet and peaceful room without hearing someone's begging voice,' Stacey thought to herself, taking a bite off her s
