Lucia rested her back, on the wall beside the bed. Her lips were a little swollen due to the kiss. She was reminiscing about the mind-blowing kiss. Hugh drove into the hospital's grounds. He hurriedly got out of the car, with the small bag in his hand. His cap was still on, but before he could get into the lobby. He was surrounded by reporters. They had grown in number and how did they recognize him? "Damn it." Hugh muttered under his breath. He hurriedly dropped his head down and used the bag in his hand to cover his face. His cap was of great use now. The reporters weren't able to capture his face clearly. He knew he had worsened the situation by doing that.Hugh could have easily maneuvered his way out, using his inhumane skills. If he did that, he would draw more trouble for himself and Lucia. "Come here." Hugh said with a cool voice. Lucia placed the things in her hand, on the bed. She moved closer to Hugh and hugged him. She buried her head in his chest, as Hugh embraced her tightly. Hugh opened his eyes suddenly. His head was resting on the back of the couch. It was dark in grandpa James' ward. He could see Lucia sprawled beside grandpa James'. He felt a familiar and hated presence around the ward and his head snapped to look at the door. Hugh stood up and walked toward Lucia to check if she was really sleeping. It had been an hour since they entered the ward. It was late and it wasn't surprising that Lucia was sleeping tiredly. Hugh's brain spelled danger for him. He could feel the evident bloodlust from Elios. He rushed after Elios but he had already gotten to where Lucia was. Lucia felt a bit sour due to how she acted. She did not get the time to dwell on her feelings before she was spoken to by the doctor. "He is fine, Miss." The attending doctor said, "I will be out.
