Lahat ng Kabanata ng Claimed by the Alphas: Kabanata 101 - Kabanata 110

Lenox povRagh looks at me like I’ve grown another head, or dick, same shit. I don’t get what’s so hard about answering one quick and easy question. Really, his only task is to point me in the direction of the roots, watch me hop away like a bunny on crack, or even follow me so he can witness how sexy I look all sweaty and manly while I chop the darn roots. But no, this guy has no idea how awesome and tempting I can be, and he doesn’t even bother to show off how much he wants to see it all. It’s sad, really. Hard for me to understand how someone so incompetent can exist, but whatever. “Come on, demon boy, tell me,” I whine and look at Ragh, doing my best to look as cute as possible. Fuck it, I even bat my eyelashes a little. Ragh’s face turns a little pale as he coughs and covers his mouth with his large hand, trying to hide his laugh. For the record - he’s shit at hiding because the sound that leaves him could wake the dead, it’s impossible to hide it at all. “What’s so funny?”

Sarah povDavid doesn’t move at first. To hell, he doesn’t even breathe, only grips the steering wheel tighter and looks ahead. I can’t tell since I can’t read his mind, but from here, it looks like he’s thinking about the choices he has taken in his life so far. Can it really be that he truly regrets his decision? Possibly, but just like he said already, it’s not like he has another way left other than ahead. Slowly, I release a quiet breath and promise myself to get out of this twisted situation, no matter what cost. At the end of the day, I have a family and two wonderful children who need their mother. If I won’t fight for myself, I will for them. “Okay,” David mutters under his breath, still holding onto the steering wheel like that’s the only thing that is still keeping him sane. “Here we go,” he mutters again, not letting go. For a brief moment, I actually assume he will start the car again and hit the gas pedal, suddenly having come to his senses and realizing he’s making

Lazarus povI’m moving before my brain has the time to register and process the scream that comes from the upstairs. In the hurry, somehow, I notice that Luka is right on my heels, excluding the same worried energy I am. I don’t just rush or run upstairs, it feels like I’m flying - one moment I near the stairs, and the next time I blink, I’m already running down the hall towards Alister’s bedroom. There’s an odd light coming from the door that’s been left ajar and foolishly, I don’t stop to think twice before I slam my hand against the door to open it wider. What I see inside makes me stop and freeze. I think I can see Ophelia’s silhouette and Alister near her, holding onto her small body for his dear life. It’s hard to tell due to insanely bright light that’s overtaken the entire room, seemingly coming from Ophelia. Before me stands a woman, dressed in a typical maid uniform we have around here, but there’s something insanely wrong about her. From the very first moment, I know

Sarah povI can’t believe I’m witnessing something as awful as the very thing that’s happening right before my eyes. I’m not a stranger to violence and blood, I’ve seen plenty of it, but right now, it hits differently. The way that man just stood in front of me, without a second of a doubt, and took the knife for me.. I don’t know what to think or believe anymore. This is.. just maddening. And the look on David’s face? That’s a completely new look of crazed, nothing like anything I’ve seen before. Even now, his chest is heaving with heavy breaths, his eyes are wide and wild, mouth twisted in an ugly snarl and his hand isn’t loosening its hold on the hilt of the knife. After a longer moment, David finally lets go and stumbles back, “what the fuck?” He mutters, eyes trained on the knife that’s lodged into the poor man’s chest. “No!” The other man screams, finally coming to his senses and rushing to the one dying before our eyes right before his body drops onto the ground. “No, no,

Than povI grip the piece of fabric in my hand tightly and let out a growl that’s far too low and loud to be true. I can’t help but feel annoyed at how the tables have turned on me. It was me who was supposed to kill Ted, but now, the demons are telling me I can’t even do that because the fucker is already dead? “Come on,” I mutter under my breath and then look at the unlucky demon who delivered the news. “You think this is fucking fair?” I ask through gritted teeth. There’s a sea of heads that shake in denial around me, but that does nothing to improve my mood. Just because everyone is capable of admitting that this situation truly is unfair to me doesn’t mean it’s going to change shit. Everyone around me looks like they’re on edge and I truly don’t blame them because so am I. Literally dangling at the end of my rope, so close to doing something I’ll never be able to fix that I can taste the blood that isn’t flowing down my throat just yet. Out of nowhere, I get probably the mo
