We all ran outside, making sure we weren't spotted. Eryn opened the tree for us to step through. I still can't seem to get used to the smell. I decided to breathe through my mouth in the hopes it would help lessen the stench. Eryn pulled his bow from his back and equipped it with an arrow. He stood tall as the end of the tunnel came to view. He shot his arrow out before we burst through to the ugliest sight I had ever seen. Bodies laid throughout the field. Some were torn down the middle, others sliced right in half. There were body parts everywhere. Not a single dead person seemed to be in one piece. The grass didn't have a single spot of green left, all crimson red with blood. 3 ancient ones stood in the center of the field in a circle. Their arms swinging out towards the wolves that were attacking them. I looked around the ground, trying to see if Charles laid amongst the carnage. I knew he wouldn't be, I would have felt it, but I had to be sure. All those dead open eyes I looke

My vision started to focus, the blinding light fading and giving way to my current surroundings. The sword was still in my hands, the ancient one frozen in place under it. Eryn's hand was pressed against my right shoulder blade and Charles' on my lower back left side. They had been holding me up this whole time. I fell back into them letting go of the sword. The battle seemed over, soldiers moving bodies now. Stoic stood to the side tentatively watching me, anger seeping from his pores. Nate stepped in my line of sight, blocking his father, shaking his head in his attempt to tell me not to worry about that now.My sobs came out heavy and quick, as I looked at the ancient one, knife still in his eye. Nate pulled his taloned hand back about to strike the ancient one down."No!!" I yelled at him, pulling at the grass in front of me as I scrambled to get off the ground. I placed my body protectively over his body. "His human side is coming back. You can't hur

My father's shoulders slouched his eyes misting over. I've never seen him look so fragile, except for when I found him in the darkness. "Lucy.." He whispered, so much love poured into her name from his lips. "Is that okay? I don't want to ruin her new life." He shyed away. "Dad," I paused grabbing his hand with both of mine. "She never found anyone else. She never looked for anyone else. She said you were her one great love and she'll never find another." A tear slipped out of my father's eye, one he quickly wiped away. He nodded his head, unable to speak, knowing how weak his voice would be right now. I pulled my phone out video calling my mother. I pulled the camera out so that my dad and I could both be clearly seen. My dad furrowed his brows a bit confused. "It's a video call." I explained to him as the phone rang. My mother answered on the fourth ring, gasping instantly. "Rain Olivia!" She yelled. "What'

After a long day, I was glad to find Eryn and Charles in the dining hall together. They were arguing again, but I was beginning to find it kind of endearing. They didn't fight anymore, at least, not physically. Just arguments and usually about me. I shook my head at them, a big smile sprawled across my face as I approached them. "What are we arguing about now?" They both turned to meet my eyes, a bit surprised to see me. Charles arched an eyebrow at me and Eryn gave me a small smirk. "Whether or not to go get you." Eryn smiled playfully at me, taking my hand and giving it a quick kiss, making me feel like the royalty I actually am."What was your stance in the argument?" I eyed Charles, curious what he thought. "I wanted to steal you away. I saw that your mother had come, and well, I still owe you for that picture." A large grin played on his face, a hunger for me clearly visible in his eyes. A small gasp left me at the reminder of th

I woke up feeling refreshed with both my mates arms over me. Charles' large hand rested over my abdomen while Eryn's arm was under my neck. I couldn't help the grin that graced my face right now. "Good morning, beautiful." Eryn's raspy voice rang in my ear. His eyes were still heavy with sleep, but he held a very sexy smirk at the corner of his lips. I leaned over and gave that spot a kiss feeling him smile under my lips. "Mmm, that's a nice way to wake up." Those deep blue eyes held mine tenderly for a moment before Charles' hand gave me a light squeeze, letting me know he was awake too. I turned my head to see those dark eyes through slanted eyes. He was not a morning person for sure. He grunted as he kept rubbing my stomach. "Let's stay in bed for a while. I'm not ready to get up yet." His sleepy face was everything and more. I'm currently laying in bed with two of the most handsome men I have ever laid my eyes on. These men were like model gods in my bed and they were all mine
