Jake returned to the hospital the next morning,he came neatly dressed and had high hopes of seeing Jamie and his baby.It was early in the morning and he found his parents sleeping soundly on the large couch. The nurses passing by smiled at him and he greeted them in return. He opened the door quietly and a smile already formed on his lips.He was happy. However when he walked towards the bed there was no one but rumpled sheets and the duvet hanged over the bed.The smile dissipated and he forced himself to believe she was probably in the bath but when he peeked in the crib his son was missing too.He rushed to the bath and forced the door open.It was empty and it didn't look like anyone used it."No.." he whimpered, fear consuming him.He left the room and his panic-stricken voice jerked his parents awake."Dad..mom, where's..where's Jamie? She's not in there and..and my son isn't in his crib!"Mrs Bryan jerked up immediately followed by a sleepy Mr Bryan. They rushed into the room and fou

"Let's go to the hospital already!" said Layla as she pulled Beverly out of bed "Mom,no!" she yanked her wrist from her mother's grip, afterwards she lowered dizzily on the bed "I said nothing's wrong with me.""How could you say that?! You've been puking the acid from your belly,Beverly! Your face looks white and pale anyone could guess you don't look fine!""You haven't had anything to eat since yesterday!" Layla ranted, her voice full of worry "Because you can't stand the smell of food! How long will you continue this way?""It won't persist for long." claimed Beverly "I just need to rest and I'll be fine.""No? You've been saying that for the past three days but the situation keeps exacerbating." she heaved a sigh "Listen to me this once, please?""We cannot go to the hospital, mother. You know how news fly around here.."Layla looked at her closely ,then remarked"You're sick, that's it right?" she sat down beside her "It's nothing more than that, right?"Beverly kept mute."Answe

Diana had booked a hotel on her arrival at Greece. With the little money she'd wiled from Stephanie she hoped to get a little house for herself and unborn kids. After a refreshing shower, she breathed a sigh of relief. In truth, she had never felt this free and perhaps happy. In years, she felt that she'd not made a more better decision. Her mind wandered to the state of things back at Chicago.Perhaps Hailey and Henry have filed a search warrant against her.Although, her and Mrs Collins shared a great bond it was difficult to believe that the woman would forgive Diana of her actions. She had deceived her and ran away with her grandchildren-the only thing she'd wished for.As for Stephanie, her plan was now completely ruined. But knowing her,Diana fathomed she'd come up with something almost immediately.Diana would love to keep abreast of the things happening in Chicago however, she wanted nothing to do with that chapter of her life anymore. Her journey to Greece signified cutting ties with ever

Diana couldn't sleep. She didn't know if it was guilt eating her up or simply because she was overthinking things.Hailey's frail body fainting and falling in Edwards' arms kept on replaying in her mind. She finally sat up on bed by dawn and walked up to the table for a glass of water. She wondered how Hailey was doing. She toppled unto the comfy couch, her eyes shimmering with tears and loneliness in her bitter heart.Did she do the wrong thing? Hailey would probably hate her now. And to make it all worse she wouldn't be around to defend herself against Stephanie's vile claims and lies. Even if she decides to return to Chicago, would anyone believe her? Lilian is dead and no one knows of Stephanie's threat to her life. She was in a dilemma and a very bad one.Her eyes fell on the TV remote lying on the table with shaky hands she picked it up and switched the TV on.A loud noise erupted from the plasma, some shouting others cooing and throwing flowers at the stage.Practically half the wh

While Jamie managed to put her crying son to sleep, Milton packed the accessories from his car into the house. Jamie quietly left the room in order not to wake her son up and stopped abruptly by the stairway watching Milton bring in the things he shopped.Jamie was instantly moved to tears. She hadn't agreed for him to do this but he didn't mind and now all alone he was moving them into the house. From the crib to the massive clothes and shoes and socks, no one would ever think they weren't his family. Earlier today, he even called her baby his son and stood up for them. She wiped her tears as she thought Jake should have been the one doing this. They would have been a happy and perfect family. Jamie was scared. She knew that she wouldn't stay with Milton for long and she had no plans whatsoever. She scolded herself for getting too comfortable and forgetting that she was still in Chicago. Anybody can recognize her and inform Jake and the last thing Jamie wanted was to cause trouble fo
