Beverly was basking in her sweet dreams but for some reason, her eyes caught the shadow of someone hovering over her. Her eyes flickered open but immediately shut when the sun's rays threatened her eyes. It made her all the more conscious because she had shut her curtains and even the windows. She turned the other way and opened her eyes slowly to the evil grin on the Don's face. She screamed and tried to jump off her bed but he grabbed her throat and slammed her head on the headboard, choking her."Let go.." she said while trying to push him off her but he didn't budge. He seemed to be enjoying hurting her as he exerted more force on her neck and it wasn't until she began to choke did he let her go.He pulled her by her hair,"Did you miss me, my love?" he sneered "Well, I missed you and I would like to finish what I started.""No,no..let me go you monster! Get off me!" cried Beverly as she drew closer to him and bit him with all of her strength causing blood to seep from his hand.H

Diana was in a deep mess. The hotel she booked somehow found out she's the runaway from Chicago. She overheard the employees speaking about it and she knew it was high time she parked and left. She hurried into her room and locked the door behind her, her heart beating loudly. She quickly pulled on a gown and parked her hair in a ponytail, grabbed her unpacked luggage and was ready to flee when the hotel door pushed open revealing the gruesome face of the people.Diana clasped her belly and it irritated them the more."Who are you?" the man in front of the mob asked and Diana said nothing. The mob became agitated and raised their weapons in the air, yelling for the man to let them through.Diana panicked at the sight of the weapons in their hands. She didn't care about herself but for her kids. There was no way there'd survive this angry mob that looked nothing like considerate human beings."You deserve to die along with your kids!" screamed one of them holding a huge stick"You whore

It was the fourth week since Jamie ran away. Not that she knew of it because her stay with Milton seemed to erase all the heartbreaks of her past even though it was for a moment. She felt at peace with him and sometimes, forgot that she wasn't married nor related to him in any way. Her heart ached whenever she realized that she cannot be with Milton forever and would have to leave one day yet she couldn't stop him from creating a space for himself in her heart. He represented everything she wished for in Jake and the little baby bonded so very well with him even more than it did with her who was the mother. She was having a hard time giving her son a name and after series of choices with Milton she finally decided to name her baby Kelvin. She almost wanted to name him after Milton but feared that her growing feelings would be exposed and that Milton wouldn't really approve of it. She also feared being kicked out of the house. Of course, Milton never showed any reluctance in taking care

The answer to her question soon arrived. After Jamie watched, from her window, Milton pulling an angry Michelle out of the house and into his car he drove off. A huge smile appeared on Jamie's face as excitement flooded into her heart. She walked quietly, her cheeks rosy and her face bright, and then shut the door to her room. She stood there for a while, images of Milton kissing her playing and re-playing in her head. Jamie didn't know when she felt this happy and she knew her happiness just began and has not ended. She wanted to look best for Milton, perhaps they might continue their own dinner date. With this in mind, Jamie changed out of her black dress. As she searched for one of her dresses that would make Milton go weak in his knees, she felt like a high school who just fell in love. It felt brand new like she'd never gotten her heart broken in the first place. At last she picked out a red dress. Judging from their numerous conversations, red was his favorite. She put it on imm

Milton had stormed out of the house in rage. His drive back to his house was like the speed of light and only when he saw the reflection of light from Jamie's room did he gain his sanity back. He took in a deep breath because he didn't want Jamie to see him mad and therefore change her mood. He pushed the Steinfields and the consequences of his actions to the back of his mind and focused on what this night had in store for him. He hooted severally for the security to open up the gate. However, there was no response. After a while, he got down from his car and with great difficulty, pulled the gate open from behind. His eyes widened at the sight before him. His guards were lying injured-shot on leg, others tied down and some shot on the thigh. Luckily, no one died. "What's going on here?!" he barked, fury consuming him. He pulled out his phone and immediately dialed the emergency number. After that he untied the guards and demanded an answer."S-sir..Mr..B-bryan. He came here with som
