Daydra POV I slowly start to regain some clarity; I feel myself walking and a blanket is wrapped around me, but I have no idea what happened, and I can't seem to clear my head enough to have clear thoughts. I recognised Loclyns dad the Gamma to Alpha Kenneth walking beside us. Feeling surprised at remembering something else but not stopping my legs from moving as I did. I saw another woman with us I don't know. I rack my brain trying to remember everything that happened but no matter how hard I try can't I remember a single skerrick of what went down after I screamed at the snake-man that was coming at Loclyn and I. Oh my god, Loclyn, where is Loclyn. I tried to say but it was little my voice had evaporated leaving me with nothing at al. I tapped his shoulder when he got a little further in front of me and he looked down at me. I think he knew what I was going to ask because he told me Loclyn is fine. He is helping Alpha Kenneth and Luna Jillien with a soft smile, pride evident in h

Daydra POV Sitting in the car that was taking me from my pack after talking to Loclyn and... woah the Vampire King who just told me he is my Father in a very firm and formal way I started wondering if Loclyn would be ok, I mean I kinda did make fun if the Vampire King and it had Loclyn in stitches with laughter. I need to work on my seriousness, it's going to get me in deep trouble if I don't that's for certain. These were my only thoughts until we came to an amazing double gate. The driver had started to slow down the closer we got but from way back up the road when I first noticed them they were huge and unmissable, now we are right infront of them stopped and waiting for them to open 'huge' does not do them any credit at all.For gates theses, these were magnificent. The gates were at least four stories tall and the same wide, they connected to fences at least three stories tall and they spanned so far in each direction I couldn't see where they ended or even bowed into a curve s

Daydra POVWasn’t long until we stopped walking and the person who just saved me and carried me here set me down on what feels like a little ledge. I hear their footsteps walking away from me then I hear a ssshhh sound, what's going on? Who is this? The next thing I feel is, warm. Now my head is reeling, so many thoughts and none I can make any sense of. Why does this keep happening? I am starting to feel like this is a regular occurrence, I am fed up with this whole situation.“Hello Princess, I’m sorry if I scared you earlier, Vex likes to take over in a fight” He says.“Oh, where are my manners, I’m Jax and I’m Vex” They said.“Sorry, Vex takes over sometimes, not just in fights it seems” he said amused.Whoa, there are two people here, now I’m trying not to let my fear show too much. I don’t know if they are going to kill me or not. After what just happened outside the southern gate I don’t want to be naive with this whole thing right now. Looking straight ahead I can see differen

Lucians POVWe arrived at the wreckage of what was once the car that was bringing Daydra here. Parts of it everywhere. I couldn’t control the rage I was feeling, I snapped, I was throwing things and yelling in my language from the ancient times, I was going off the rails. She was here and I smelt wolfs-bane, it was then I went berserk. Kenneth had tried to calm me down but I was having it. the time for talking over, we just faced a pack and rogues with them, I wasn’t going to hear reason. Kenneth Shifted and we started grappling and tusseling I didn’t want to hurt him but I wasn’t going to back down on this either. “ Just let me vent you giant pain in the arse” I snarled“ You're drawing attention to us which isn’t a good idea right now dickheak” He snarled back.“She is Loclyns mate, I need her alive” I growled.Unsure why I said that I stopped for a split second, giving Aaron enough time to walk around us and shift himself and get our attention. Jillian was just standing there look

Daydra POVJax left not long ago, the little twinge of disappointment that he was gone made me question myself. Maybe I’m just feeling a little emotional that’s all. I mean he did save me and he is helping me get back to being normal. I probably just have a feeling of gratitude towards him. Yeah, that's it I tell myself.Sitting in this water was starting to wear me out. I was finally able to move my neck which was a good thing I suppose at least now I could look around but this silence was deafening, Erie and cold, and water. Oh my goddess I can feel the cold now and the water on my skin, he was right it is working. I was about to try and move when I heard shuffling of feet mixed with the sound of water cascading off of something and thudding onto the rocks.I was terrified, did someone find me, Jax would have announced himself I would have thought. Who was this? Have they come to finish the job? Goddess give me strength please, I need to be able to move. The footsteps stopped not to
