I get out of the Uber and drag my ass inside my residence. Curse that jerk for making me look and feel like total crap! And curse my father for his bellicosity to wreck my happiness and my peace! Screw those dummies I call my friends. It seems like I am all alone in this world now, since I can't vouch that Grace won't do the exact thing Rose and Sherry are doing to me in case my father reaches out to her. Life really sucks!I fish out my key upon lunging my door and unlock it, hauling myself inside. I lock the door behind me, and scamper for the light socket with my hand on the wall. I press the switch, and the lights glisten, illuminating the room. I turn around, weighing between having a cold drink first or a hot shower. Flinging around, my feet latch onto their tracks instantly after I do so. A duo of the familiar bottomless dingy brown pools are flaming at me from the couch. Whoa! What the heck!By the looks, he only made a stop at a bar parlour after leaving my shop earlier, on

WARNING: THIS CHAPTER CONTAINS SOME MATURE CONTENT.An appealingly alluring pair of eyes are scrutinizing my face when I awaken. Like always, the Greek god is flawless, not like he just awoke from sleep. At this enchanting sight, I grin.My life's best night was last night. We had more than simply romance, and I just unearthed that an indelible night isn't only characterized by having sex. We went straight to bed after our deep, steamy shower kisses. He pleated us under this duvet and scooped me up in his arms. We sidled up to each other, kissed each other goodnight and then drifted off to a sound slumber. It was beautiful!I felt different. I still do feel different and special. As I gawk into his eyes this morning, I feel like a number one, like I own his heart already, or as if there is that possibility. I can't explain the glee I am feeling inside.I pinch my hands to his chilled jaws, and I pull him for a deep, sweet morning kiss. I would love to always go to bed the way I did la

It's a beautiful Friday night, and my wristwatch is ticking quarter past eight. I discharge a yawn, stretching my exhausted muscles a bit before plopping my head on the computer again. It's been a whole week of nothing but pure glee and contentment. Every minute that I have spent behind this desk or in my field of work is so fulfilling, because I now do what I love. I feel so new. The place is placid and gracious, and except for some two gross bitches whose beef with me I'm yet to unearth, everyone else is just candy. All the same, you can't be loved by all, right? Competency and belligerence are key here in this office. Everyone knows what precisely they are here for and hence, I don't have to haul any lazy arse around. I must commend Davon for that, and well, you know who else - my boss. Thinking about him makes my blood boil already- with longing, of course. Don't get me wrong, we haven't been naughty in any way. There was just so much I had to do to harmonize and acquaint mysel

A month later! The sound of an alarm has never hissed this confectionery. Maybe because it's not just an alert that it's time to get my arse ready for work, but that it's another time to see my hot boyfriend. That thought of him alone makes me spring from bed with ecstasy and a beautiful grin on my face. Love has reduced me into a sweet sixteen, I say! I get into the bathroom and do my business in a haste, the portrayal of Damian hurling the degree of my speed. I can't believe that I'm actually dissembling a teenager like this because of a man, glowing with redness even at the sheer notion of him. But who cares? It's not a crime! I'm in love, with none other but the most gorgeous man that this world has ever elicited. I feel on top of this world, and especially because nothing has bothered me this one month. My father has perhaps forgotten he had a daughter. No problem at all, if it means we both are at peace. My shop is doing exemplary amazing, with Grace being the best partner and

It's such an inexplicable joy to see things working so gaily and smoothly. I didn't know working for Damian in this motel would be this smooth, fun, and fulfilling as it is now. My team is doing pretty incredible according to the report I'm reading, and I can't explain the glee. I must concede that I was skeptical at the beginning, but now, I'm impressed by my achievement, and my team. And I am grateful to Damian for putting his trust in me. This is joy. This is life.My phone buzz and I grab it, as usual, sparkling with enthusiasm after seeing the name on the screen."Hello, handsome!" I greet, heaving my head up from the computer."Hi, love!" Damian's cool voice comes from the other end. "Are you busy?" He adds."Not quite. Why? What's up? Do you need me to do something, boss?" I implore. He chuckles. I can hear him. He always does whenever I tease him with this boss title. And I love doing it."Relax, baby. I just wanted to say, congratulations. You are doing a commendable job. Kee
