PIERRE POVDURING the ride home, I kept convincing myself that everything was all okay. Despite the heavy feeling that was weighing me down. At least him paying zero attention to me meant that people would finally get off my case and start focusing on something or somebody else.That made more sense. POSEIDON POVREJECTION!HARD! COLD! MERCILESS REJECTION.I never thought I would have a taste of one, but now I knew what it tasted like. PIERRE POV“YOU WERE RIGHT,” I screamed over the music, into Henry’s ear."THIS PLACE IS CRAAAAAZY!!!" He turned to look at me and then grinned.“I KNOW RIGHT.” He winked before turning to look at the girl he has been dancing with the entire evening. Lucky guy, he was able to find someone to keep him busy while I was all by myself here. Not minding about him and the fact that I was going solo, I thrust my hands into the air, closed my eyes, and then let the music carry me. POSEIDON POV“Kiss me, Pierre,” It was so desperate of me to beg for a kiss. But the idea of what came next made it all worth it. He snapped out of the trance he was in before he threw his arms around my neck, his nose flaring with a sharp intake of breath. I lowered my hands to his lower body, secured them at his lean waist, and pulled him closer to me. A very odd exhilarating shiver ran down my spine when he opened his mouth, allowing me entrance to taste the inside of him. PIERRE POVJust when I thought I have heard it all about the fuckin’ Z4. Now they tossed cards? What else was there to uncover?“Black Dread and Wafering.” Henry who was still standing behind me protectively called out. I took the cards and turned to show him, and the crowd that was standing behind us went wild. It was an incoherent mess of loud rumblings that I didn’t even make out or even bothered to try to understand. But thank God they did all of this when dispersing, clearing the air around us, and making it fresh to breathe again. “What do they mean?” I asked after swallowing again, feeling slightly relieved at the absence of gawking eyes.Henry picked the green card from my fingers and held it up in my face so I can get a clear view of it. POSEIDON POVThe other guys returned to the lounge way more faster than I hoped they would. I kind of hoped they would take some time doing their shit, but nope.
