My life is not like others, a life unknown to the human world. Our kind is always around humans and they never know, unless one is mated to one of my kind. Very little is known of our kind and that's how we like it. We reside in packs all across the world, most packs are hidden "off grid" where humans can't normally find us, or they're small towns within the human world, however it's rare for a pack to do that.My pack is off the grid, like my life I'm the forgotten daughter of the beta of the Silver Moon pack. My mother was killed 5 years ago when I was 14 years old. My father had what is called a second chance mate. She moved in with her vile daughter Marissa. Tara wanted Marissa to the be the center of attention. So soon everyone forgot about me. Tara kicked me down into the basement of the house, and now I am not allowed to leave the house. Father is rarely home, so Tara just gets away with everything and he doesn't bat an eye. Alpha Jax knows about the situation but just sweeps i

During the car ride, dad and I talked about things that had happened the last couple of years. I didn't want to tell him, but since he's the soon to be alpha he needs to know. We also talked about finding my mate. He told me people to try and avoid, and Alphas I should avoid also. His keyword was try, because I could be one of their mates and that be that and have no saying in it unless they reject me.We arrived at the Moon Pack after a two hour drive, which went by surprisingly fast. There are hundreds of wolves going to be here tonight from over thirty different surrounding packs. The car came to a stop at the building where the gala was being held, Tara and Marissa were standing out by the front, causing me to roll my eyes in annoyance."It will soon be over Tessie." Dad said to me as he placed his hand on my shoulder."Hopefully." I said softly as my door opened.I stepped out of the car, the usher with his hand out for me to grab to help me out of the car, in which I did. I feel

Sunrays flooded the room, as the sun began to rise. I opened my eyes, the room looked golden as the sun flooded in. As my eyes adjusted to the brightness, Braden’s naked chest was inches away from my face. I couldn't help but blush. It still feels like a dream, the fact that I’m laying in this bed with a man that looks like a god.I looked up to see Braden's sleeping face, goddess even when he's asleep he's still hot as ever.“Kiss him” Alex howled in my mind.“You and I both know I'm incapable of doing that.” I thought back.Fun fact: anyone can communicate with their wolf. It's like mind linking but a little different.“Come on, he wants us to take some type of control, go off what you learned in those books you read.” Alex said excitedly.“Yeah no, If he wants to kiss me then that's his thing, I have no idea how to kiss anyway so sorry."Before Alex could protest. Braden's eyes opened, causing me to look away quickly.“You know darling, staring at somebody while they're sleeping is

Goddess I feel so embarrassed, I really hope those two didn't hear me. I blushed at the thought as I walked into the bathroom. It was huge a large shower with multiple shower heads. A bathtub enough to fit at least four people. As I looked around the room. Images flooding my mind of what just happened. I whimpered at the thought of it. I wanted more but I'm afraid of what more is.I turned on the water to the sink splashing my face with cold water, trying to calm myself down. I splashed my face a couple of more times. As I turned the water off there was a knock at the bathroom door. The smell of rain and smoke. Braden"You can come in" I say softly as the door openedBraden walked into the bathroom, as I dried my face off with a towel."You okay?" He asked as he walked over to me. I watched his eyes flicker from his to his wolf and back. I know he can smell me still turned on. However my body was finally relaxing."I-I'm okay" I said Looking up at him.He cupped my cheek, "are you wan

Bradens POV:“Braden office quick” Ashton mindlinked me, waking me dead out of sleep.I opened my eyes and looked around the room. The sun peaking through the curtains on the windows. I yawn and look down, Tessa cuddled up against me. I couldn’t help my smile, my beautiful mate sound asleep.“Braden hurry the fuck up.” Ashton mindlinked.“I’m coming dammit.” I mindlinked back.I slid out of bed making sure to not wake Tessa up. I quickly get dressed, Putting on a pair of black pants and a dark blue button up, with a pair of black dress shoes. My normal everyday clothes.I headed to the office quickly, Ashton and Jay standing at my desk. “Okay what's so important that you're waking me up at six in the morning.”“Tessa’s father called me this morning,”Jay said as he sat down.“Why did he call you and not me?” I asked, raising my eyebrow.“I asked him the same thing, he said because if he called you it would have woken Tessa up.” Jay said, shrugging his shoulders.“Okay understandable, s
