NERISSA I was distracted by the sun's rays hitting my face. I opened one eye and looked through the window. It's morning, I got up rubbing my eyes. I looked next to me, Hace was gone. That man is there, he didn't even wake me up. I combed my hair with my hand. I fixed our bed first, and decided to go out. I could also hear the noise outside the house. When I got to the kitchen, I was greeted by my aunt who was already serving breakfast. I woke up late again, I couldn't take care of my siblings. Tiyang looked at me and smiled, I approached and greet her. "Good morning, aunt ." " Good morning to you too, sit down now. I have prepared the food and taken care of your siblings. I'll take them to school, you stay here and rest." She said as she lead me to sit. " I can take them to school. I'm not the one who prepared their breakfast, besides, you must be tired too." She shook her head and smiled, she took my hand and caressed it. " Oh it's nothing , I'm fine. Now look at your stoma

NERISSA After getting settled, we traveled back to Manila. We rode only one car, together with Hace's friends. And now it's a miracle that they are quiet, their faces are serious and it's like they have their own world. Draco is driving and Carlos is in the front, Hace and I are in the middle. Adrian and Aki were behind, busy with his computer. Since we left the house, Aki has been facing his laptop. I sighed and leaned my head on Hace's shoulder. I felt his kiss there and his hug tightened on my shoulder. "Something wrong?" He ask, I just shook my head and closed my eyes. "We will come back, I promise to stay with you with your family. For now, let's face your father. Everything will be okay.” He promised. "Hmm." My only answer was, I still remembered how hard it was to say goodbye to my siblings. But when he said why I'm leaving. Their faces became clear and even happy. We talked to tiyang about dad's return. She must have told those children so that they would agree to let m

I felt bad for Hace and Hillary when I caught up with them in the kitchen. I had Hace come down first to cook the breakfast I wanted. Fried rice and dry fish , plus red eggs. Because they are not with Lara and they are at the grocery store now. We are the only ones left here at home. And because Hillary wants to live here temporarily because she misses Hace. Hace told me why Hillary and father came back just now. It is said that Hillray was in a coma and it was only last month that she finally recovered, from waking up from a few years of sleep. Dad was the one who saved her , someone took them and treated them both. Dad woke up first but he said he didn't remember anything so he didn't come back to us right away. I understand what happened to them, because of my father's fault. But what I see now in front of me, I just want to pull Hillary out of the house. Hace also told her about the relationship Hace and I have. And she said she understood, and she was like a gentle sheep who beg

HACE I drove the car quickly because of the call I received from home. Marj found Nerissa unconscious in our room. I left the meeting and just left because of my panic. I went down quickly when I got to the house, after entering I went upstairs and went straight to our room. The worried faces of Manang Lara and Marj appeared. I ignored them and went straight to where Nerissa was lying. I sat on the edge of the bed and held her hand. I faced the doctor panting. "What happened is she okay, and our baby is the baby okay?" "Yes Mr. Mondeñego, thankfully your wife is okay. And I'm glad that your baby is okay too. Just a little complication of her passing out because of shock. Everything is okay, my advice is to let her rest and not to think too much that will stress her." The doctor explain as he's putting all his things in his bag. "She was okay when I left this morning." I turned my attention to manang Lara." What happened?" I saw Marj nod, Marj walked to the side of the bed on the

She showed the arm where the bomb was connected, towards her body. She smiled as if it didn't matter. "I'm waiting H, you know I don't like waiting." She said as she waved her hand with the gun. "H." I looked at my friends, they were all shaking their heads. They know that whatever I choose, it will be a dead end for me. But not for them, they can still go out in time. But my Nerissa, she's waiting for me. And our baby, I want to see her or him. We're supposed to see the doctor to know the gender. But I guess, I won't have a time for that. I won't be seeing them again. I gasped for air and faced her. "Let them go!" She smiled, liking what I said. She signaled the staff, I looked at them. They untied Nerissa's family. Aki, Carlos and Caden also helped. I saw Draco leave his seat and come to me. Caden motioned for the crew to leave. I shook my hand and shook Hillary's voice, she was happy but there were tears in her eyes. I can't fight her , she has the bomb. And no matter how fast
