Chapter 31

Sophie PovI got to the house and Everett was nowhere to be found. I sighed relieved, heading to my room. I took my bath. After bathing I wore a long blue jean with a white top. I decided to bring out my clothes for tomorrow as I will be very busy sketching so I decided to do everything I want to do now before sketching to avoid distractions. I brought out one of the skirts with a top and heels. Then I went downstairs, I don't think I have time to eat so I took 2 apples and a bottle of yoghurt. Then I went up to my room. I ate the apple while looking at some designs online to find inspiration. I saved some designs that looked really nice. After eating the apple and drinking the yoghurt I brought out my art designs. I sat down on the floor beside my bed after making sure my door was locked, then I started sketching out bringing my imaginations to life.*****We were currently in the night, the time was 9:20 the last time I checked. I have come up with some nice designs and I have al

Chapter 32

Sophie PovThe next day came in a flash and I felt like I only slept for an hour. I obviously didn't want to wake up, I was pretty exhausted. I looked so awful, my lips were very dry and I had dark circles. I was just so sluggish and weak but I still had to be fast because I don't want Mr Sanchez to complain again. That is why now I am entering the elevator with 3 different things in my hands while sipping my own coffee. I looked at my watch and it was 7:58. I came out of the elevator running to the office and as usual I was welcomed with the smell of male cologne and the cold air, which tells me that Mr Sanchez is here. How does he manage to get to the office early? Doesn't he sleep at home? I entered the office and knocked on his door. He was wearing a navy blue suit and as usual his hair was combed back in perfection."Come in," he said. I opened the door and entered the office."Good morning sir" I said. He looked up at me, his eyes raked down my body, as he looked at what I wa

Chapter 33

Sophie PovI hide my face in his chest, biting my lips. I could feel his muscled chest and his million dollar cologne as it entered my nose, once again I had to resist the urge to sniff him out.“Mrs Lee, what are you doing?” he asked, his voice laced with irritation. I spy looking behind me and I couldn’t find Everett, I breath out relieved. I moved back from Mr Sanchez and dust his suit which has rumpled from my hard grip.“I am so sorry sir” I said, still dusting his suit. He groaned lowly and slapped my hands off then he left, I looked at the lady who was looking at me weirdly. I laughed nervously then I ran after him. We both walk side by side heading to the elevator, we entered inside and stood in silence. The elevator dinged and we came out. I followed him as we passed through some hallways, then we got to a door. He opened it and entered inside, it was a conference room. People were seated with sparkling water in front of them, they were all wearing nice and expensive looking

He pulled me with my hair as he dragged me.“Everett, please stop. I didn’t mean it” I said, tears following down my face. But he didn’t care he dragged me up the stairs while I whimper painfully holding his hand as he held my hair tightly. He drag me to his room, I panicked and started fighting with him.“Everett what are you doing?” I asked. Instead of answering me he threw me on his filty bed a dark look on his face, my mind started beating fast hoping he is not trying to do what I think he want to do.“Everett if you are trying to do what I think you wa…….” he cut me off with a slap. He pulled me closer to him.“You can never want me huh? Well you don’t need to want me because you are already mine So

Chapter 35

Sophie PovBeep.. Beep.. Beep..That was the sound I was hearing. I slowly opened my eyes and I came in contact with the white ceiling. I looked to my side as my head was pounding so badly. I saw Mr Sanchez and he was sitting beside me looking at me quietly."Has someone been abusing you?" He asked bluntly, looking at me with a glint that I didn't understand. I looked at the ceiling keeping quiet, I felt numb and I didn't know how to process my emotions."It's Everett isn't?" He asked, clenching his jaw. Does he and Everett have a problem, did they once have an issue or a clash. I remember how Everett said him when he was asking me that question, his voice was laced with venom and hate. He clenched his jaw more at my silence, I didn't bother asking how he knows about me being married to Everett, I figured that he already knows my name and has read the news so no need of asking."How can you allow him to abuse you? The doctor said you have not been eating well nor having proper rest, y

Chapter 36

Sophie PovI sat down on the chair looking at the food he cooked. I breathe in and the aroma coming from the food smells so good. I looked at him quietly, as he served me soup. I suddenly remembered when I cooked soup for Everett and his girlfriend, my hand on the table tightened as I remembered how he humiliated me, I tightened it more remembering how he embarrassed me in that boutique, hate and irritation for Everett growing and twirling in my heart as I clenched my fist. Suddenly a large palm was on mine, I pulled out of my thoughts looking at Mr Sanchez. He was not looking at me, instead at my clenched fist, he released my hand as I looked at the bracelet once again, looking at the name. Once again I felt a connection to the bracelet."You know you could get your revenge," he said. I looked at him, of course I will get my revenge, he dared to try and rape me? I live a simple and low key life, I never had time for boys and I wanted to give my virginity to someone that was worth

Chapter 37

Sophie PovAfter I finished crying I cleaned my tears sitting up properly. He unwrapped his arms from my body."Are you okay?" He asked. I looked up at him."Yes," I replied. He looked at me, his blue eyes boring holes into my equally blue eyes, he outstretched his hand. His warm palm landed on my cheeks as he learned my tears. "You shouldn't waste your tears on people that did not deserve it" he said, putting my hair behind my ears. He looked at me, removing his hand then he went back to his seat and continued with his food. I smiled looking down at my food, then I started eating it looking at Mr Sanchez."How did you know Everett?" I asked. His hands tightened once again on his spoon as he gritted his teeth angrily. I looked at him wondering what on earth happened between both of them that they hate each other so much. "Everett is someone I knew from the past," he said, not going further. I decided not to push it, even though I am super curious. We continued eating our food in sil

Chapter 38

Sophie Pov"Sophie" a voice called shaking me. I turned away from the voice as I never want to wake up, this is the best sleep I have had since ages. I just want to sleep. The voice chuckled. I felt the bed deepening."Sophie come on get up, you've been sleeping for hours' ' the voice said again pulling me up with my hand. I groggily opened my eyes and I came face to face with Mr Sanchez."Mr Sanchez?" I asked, confused. He frowned."I thought we agreed on calling each other our names," he said. I looked around me and it all cleared up, I am staying with him now. I remembered what happened yesterday when I wanted to kiss him, my cheeks hit up as I became embarrassed. Thank God he stopped me because I was not in my right senses yesterday."Good morning," I said. He smiled coming down from the bed. He carried a tray, the tray was filled with food. I looked at him as my heart melted, nobody has ever done this for me before."Breakfast in bed for the pretty lady," he said, placing the tra

Chapter 39

Sophie PovWe have been driving for some time now."Where are we going?" I asked. He looked at me and smiled."I was waiting for you to ask me since but you didn't. But not to worry, we are almost there" he said. I sank in my chair as he continued driving, drumming his hand on his laps."Do you like drumming?" I asked, looking at his finger. He stopped beating his finger."Not really just that I like keeping my fingers busy sometimes" he said. I nod my head, well that explains everything. After sometime we got to a secluded area filled with hills and mountains but there was a building there. I looked around surprised."What's this?" I asked, looking at him. "Let's find out," he said, coming down from the car. I removed the seat belt and came down. "Come on, let's go" he said, entering the building. I followed behind him as he passed through some places. We burst out of another place and it seemed there were some people waiting for us. "Good morning Mr Sanchez" one man greets bringi

I look outside and I can’t tell where we are. I came down from the car with Landon coming down also.“Let’s go,” he said. I followed beside him looking around, the place has a wide road with flags pointing at the direction you should go probably. Then suddenly different karts passed by us in a rush making a voom sound. I smiled.“We are definitely riding that, '' I said, looking at Landon. He laughed.“I knew that would give it away,” he said.“This is so awesome” I said. He smiled. We talked further as I looked around, I can’t wait to get on one of those bad boys. We got to a place and some men were there, helping some other people wear their helmets and stuff.“Good afternoon sir” one of them
