The driver of the cab Alex was inside was bent on getting to the nearest hospital on time. He was afraid, praying that she should hold on until they get to a hospital. Alex could not hear him because she was far gone. Darkness was all that she could see. She could hear voices but the force pulling her was so strong that she gave up on consciousness. Finally, the guy sighted the nearest hospital, Morris, and drove in. It was not a hospital for the elites but she could manage for the life of her. The guy believed that it was only the elites that could dress the way Alex was dressed. By the time Mad arrived at the hospital, Alex had been admitted and a doctor was already attending to her. He was not surprised that the cab driver driving Alex took her to the hospital, she might have passed out in his cab. Max came into the hospital looking around. A nurse sighted him and walked to him. "Are you lost, Sir?" "A sister of mine was admitted here, this lady."The nurse stared

Alex was back in the house before evening. Silas was sent to bring her and Josh back home by Senior Bleak's order. She was better and there was no need for her to remain in the hospital so she was discharged. Senior Bleak and Ander had waited for them outside and when they arrived, the duo were ushered inside by Senior Bleak and Ander. Ander was all over Alex, he was so happy to have her back. Now that Alex was back home, Ander thought they could open the box. He touched his pocket to see if the key was still there and it was. Due to Alex's kidnapping, everyone forgot that Josh had burns and he did not even remember, himself, or maybe it was because he was almost healed. So while the three of them were inside Josh and Alex's room, Ander brought up the topic. "Sis, don't you think we should check the box now if you are fit," he said with so much hope in his eyes."Of Course I am fit, let me get the box."Alex said and went to bring the box. The suitcase from Miami was still as th

Luke met Josh on his way out and scoffed,"I see the good grandson has been told the truth. It's a pity that he is not who he was told he is. Life is such a player." Josh grinned at Luke, "it's only losers that whine unnecessarily. Whether I am a Bleak or not, it changes nothing. It does not change the fact I have achieved a lot on my own. It does not change the fact that I married the best woman in the world, it still does not change the fact that I have a loving grandfather who will choose me ten times over you. Get a life, Luke, you don't go about fighting for what you did not have a clue how the story started. Oh! you want to claim the Bleak's will? Who cares anyway? Do you think grandfather is too dumb to let you ruin his years of hard work all in the name that you are a low grandson of his? I bet you, he would entrust all his properties into the hands of a stranger than to entrust it in your hands." It was not a lie and Luke knew this but still, he thought Senior Bleak doe

Josh drove into Devon's Mansion. He sighed and got down from his car. He never had it in mind that he would be coming there for something aside from business. He was there and that was it, he better get it over with. It's only Devon himself who would answer all his questions and that's why he was there Josh was ushered into the big house. It was almost the same interior design as theirs. Of Course, it is, his grandfather and Devon have a lot in common and share the same ideas. He was told to sit down and wait for the man of the house. He was offered refreshments that he has not touched. Josh knew he was not there for merriments. For what seemed like ages, Mr. Devon arrived, smiling. He has always been cheerful and Josh happened to be one of his favorites among the Bleak's grandsons. Josh stood up to welcome him, "good day to you sir, sorry to barge in on you like this."The old man who was almost the age of his grandfather smiled at him. "You are welcome, Josh. There

Josh had nothing to say. Why would the son of a very good friend of his grandfather bend on destroying the Bleak?"Grandfather, did something happen between you and William Worth?" "Of Course not, I did a friend some good and his son is paying me with evil. I am not regretting helping his father and I would never. If ZICO thinks I offended his late father, he should confront me, not secretly carrying out revenge. I think I will pay him a visit," Senior Bleak said and stood up."See you later, son, I believe your father is on his way back. Let me know when he arrives." "I will, Grandfather." ************* It was just Alex alone sitting and staring at a space when Josh arrived in their room. Ander had left earlier moody. Alex had done everything possible to make him understand that they would see the box but he would not stop being sad. "Hello, my love."Josh said, pulling her to himself. Alex snuggled closer and closed her eyes. "You bring peace to my w
