Valeria was in the kitchen together with Mrs Emily, baking a cake. Mrs Shiella told them that she'd been craving a home-made cake. Valeria was mixing the flour and sugar with other ingredients. "Damn it!. " Mrs Emily muttered. "What is it, ma'am?" Valeria couldn't help but ask. "I forgot to get some baking powder." Mrs Emily frowned. "Can't we make it without baking powder?" Valeria found herself asking. "No we can't, it won't give me what I actually want," Mrs Emily said. "What are we going to do now?" Valeria asked. "Well, you'll have to go to the supermarket," Mrs Emily said, and Valeria sighed. "But you know I don't know my way around here," Valeria stated. "You've been here for two years now and you still don't know your way around?" Mrs Emily scoffed. "You know I don't go to the supermarket," Valeria said. "Well, that's not my concern, I need the baking powder," Mrs Emily stated. ***** Noah actually went to get water when he overheard their conversation. He stood

She loosed the towel she used to cover her body, then she put on her nightwear. She went back to the bathroom, hung the towel on the door, she'll just give it a wash tomorrow. She left the bathroom door open, then she went to lie down. She couldn't stop thinking about Ergon, he hadn't come to see her."Maybe he's mad at me." She thought."Anyways, that's none of my business, I won't apologize to him, I'm not the one who's at fault here." She said."And who knows, he might come see me tonight." She thought with a smile. She switched off the lights, then she went to sleep.****Noah quietly crept out of his room, he'd need to have Valeria one last time before he leaves. He walked quietly downstairs, then he went to Valeria's room.He turned the door knob, and a smile appeared on his lips when he saw it was open."She must have

Valeria went to her room, and she suddenly felt dizzy. She slowly went to sit on the bed, then she rubbed her temples with both hands."What's wrong with me?" She dropped to her knees and threw up in the toilet. She coughed loudly, then she stood up, she went to the sink and she rinsed her mouth with water, then she brushed her teeth again."What's wrong with me?" She asked herself. She placed a palm on her head to feel her temperature, and it was normal. The urge to throw up came again and she rushed to the toilet and threw up in it. When she was done, she stood up, and she brushed her teeth again. This time, she felt scared, she couldn't tell what was wrong with her, and it was beginning to scare her."I should go see Madam Shiella about this. I think I need to see a doctor." She left her room, then she went upstairs to Shiella's room. She passed by Ergon's door. She wanted to go see him, but s

"Don't you dare come close to me, Valeria, or else you'll regret it." He said dangerously."I still find this so hard to believe. What do you take me for Valeria, a fool, am I a fool to you? How dare you tell me you're pregnant with me when I've never ever touched you. Have you forgotten how you used to tell me to wait for you until you was 18, so why will I have sex with you?""Please Ergon, stop saying all this, don't do this to me, please Ergon, I'm begging you, I'm carrying your child, I'm —." Valeria was saying when another slap landed on her cheek."If you ever call that thing in your womb mine, then I swear to God I'll kill you, Valeria," Ergon said in anger.Valeria held her cheek, she just couldn't believe what was happening to her right now. Ergon had just slapped her two times. He was also denied his baby."I feel like strangling you right now Valeria, your presence alone irritates me, you disgust me, I never knew you were such a cheap slut, a gold-digger, I was so blinded
