Chapter 7 : We Can't Trust Her

It took a few trials to perfect the recipe, but I think I finally did the northern dish justice. A Hoarfrost territory specialty: roasted duck over red curry.Looking down at the dish I prepared, I felt a wave of confidence for the first time. The duck breast was glazed in an herbal marinade, directly sourced from the palace's gardens, and was roasted to perfection.
