"Give me your watch!" Jaeleah said, half yelling with her hand stretched out."Why would I do that?""I guess you want to keep up being the spy or probably, you're working with Aiden" she glared at her and others watched her with suspense."What nonsense! Here you go. But he touched my back, how come you're looking at my watch?""He mind linked me just now and told me to stop you from finding where he hid the bug but I tricked him into telling me instead"She smashed the watch on the ground and grounded it with her leg."Hey! What have you done? That was the last thing I had of my mom" Yana broke down in silent sobs. "I'm sorry, ma'am but that was the only option""I'm sorry, Yana. I'll get you one that looks exactly like that, I promise you""You better do." She sniffed."So what now?" Liza asked"We'll have to find him""How? He was not at the cemetery" Yana said"He was there, he just left before we got there and now that he would no longer get information from us, I'm sure he wou

Day twenty five.Amber woke up to the ringing of the bell, she grunted as she tossed round the bed and slowly opened her eyes to the shining ray of the rising sun. She grabbed her pen that was lying beside her on the bed and circled day twenty five."Let's do this" she held her lips together. She got out of bed, wore her towel robe and headed to the bathroom. She hummed silently as she had her bath and few minutes later, she walked back into the room with water dripping down her body and a small towel wrapped on her head. She sat on the small stool, patting her body with the towel while stealing glances at herself in the mirror. She wore a mini tight gown and combed her hair down. She grabbed her phone and key and walked out of the room. Walking down to the Grand Hall, Amber bumped into Ignacio and as usual, he tried to talk to her but she ignored him. They both got to the Hall, Ivory and Irene had secured a seat for her as they now see her as their master."Thank you" she mumbled a

"Who do you think can do this to Wenda?" Jaeleah asked "Obviously the one trying to kill my mom. I'm going to suck his blood dry by the time I lay my hands on him" Amber gnashed her teeth and she clenched hard her fist."I think you two can go to the hospital. Amber has class to attend so do I." Miss Peyton said"It's fine, you can go ahead. Thanks for your help" Maya said and left with Yana and Jaeleah."Hey...........""I'm so........" Miss Peyton's and Amber's words collided and they smiled and Amber hugged her."I'm sorry I didn't see things from your perspective. I would have done worst if I was in your shoes""Thank you for forgiving me" She said but Amber broke free from the hug with a serious look on her face."Who told you I've forgiven you?" She had a serious look on her face that confused Miss Peyton."What? Then what's all these about?""I need a bottle of wine and chips of plantain at night before you can be forgiven" She teased and they both laughed out loud."I'll go p

"I'll be back to check up on you, Wenda" Miss Peyton bent over to Kiss her on the forehead."So you were going to leave me here? I'm going with you. The ritual has to be performed today, Maya needs reason to trust you again""At the expense of your life? I'd rather have her hate on me for the rest of her life""No. I just want my friend to be happy. No more talks, let's go" She said and disconnected the drip from her hand and they all went to the reception."Has she been discharged?" Amber asked as she noticed Wenda's presence"No, she insisted the ritual be done today. She's just like you, Amber" Miss Peyton teased and Amber chuckled.Amber, Wenda and Miss Peyton boarded a taxi while the others went with Maya. They all arrived at the school gate the same time and Miss Peyton sprinted Wenda to her room because she didn't want to be spotted by Ignacio or Adrian."Why would you sprint with someone who is still weak?" Maya's voice was harsh as she walked into the room"She wasn't complai

"I heard you once worked for the FBI, why do you intend going against them now?""Are you going to help me or not?""Sure, I'll help you but you have to tell me why. I won't have you soil my name in the mud""They are the reason why my family is dead and I want to see all those involved rot in jail""Can you please be more detailed?" She asked, taking some steps away from him."I guess you don't need me, I'll just keep mute""I already promised to help you so what's with the attitude?" She turned back to him, her face had gone red"You don't trust me. You think I'm a bad guy, well, everyone does so I'll just remain a bad guy.""Aiden. I don't know the kind of past you had but you have to trust me on this. I'm a professional advocate of the law, I can't soil my hand in anything that is against the law so you have to tell me everything in detail so I can help you. You can even brief it, I just need to know why you want to go against the people you once worked with" she approached him, h
