He approached the bed, his face lit up with a wide, proud grin."You looked terrible last night," he said, holding the mug out toward me. "I brewed you some brown sugar ginger tea. Be careful, though. It’s still boiling hot."I blinked against the morning light, slowly pushing myself up against the headboard. The dull ache in my abdomen was still there, but the scent of sweet, sharp ginger filling the room made me lean forward."Take a sip," Ares urged, shifting his weight from foot to foot.
