The night was a restless one for Hazel. She drifted in and out of sleep because of worry. When awake, she would nibble on the food that had been left for her till her stomach started to act funny. By the end of the night and towards morning, Hazel already had a plan. Her only prayer was that the plan worked. It had to work.
