Ella’s POV “You don’t know me,” the stranger said as he stood beside my hospital bed. His voice was calm, yet carried a firmness I couldn’t ignore. “I was the one who saved you when you were about to die. Why did you do that to yourself?” His question pierced through me, stirring the pain I was trying so hard to bury.
