And live a happy life, just like in the fairytales, I felt the same way. Growing up my mother used to tell Jordan and I on how mates are to supposed to cherish one another. They are precious, and the moon goddess created that special one only for you. I also remembered my mother telling us the story about her grandparents. Her grandmother Dawn got mated with her grandfather Logan, as she told us. That they could not be together because her grandmother’s father try to marry her off to her best friend in order to have an alliance. When her grandmother did not comply, she and Logan ran off, to live happily with her mate. It only lasts a sh

Maiden POV: I was out on a run, enjoying the thought of being free. I needed this from all the stress that I was dealing with lately. One of the main issue I’m dealing is with having a mate. When she is around, I cannot think clearly. I feel our bond is getting stronger. Villian does not make it even better. He keeps telling me how much we need Nilayah and her wolf. I knew he was a softy. It should never surprise me at all. I need to deal with this mate stuff. I don’t want this to distract me from what I’m trying to do. My mission is to keep everyone in my pack safe. I don’t need the trouble; it is bad enough that I have to go into hiding because of my dangerous past. There are people out there trying to find me, and if they do, they will kill me with a blink of an eye. It is hard to explain; I hate that my life turns out this way. Losing the people that I love. Each day I’m reminded of how my mother and grandma were taking from me that sometimes at night I cannot sleep becau

It seems she will not take no for an answer, I am upset that she reveals to the pack that Nilayah is my mate. Now there more problems coming my way. I did not want anyone to know that Nilayah is my mate. Dena will have to answer for her actions, also I need to know how did she discover Nilayah being my mate? Kazimir and I headed into the pack house. As we walk, the people move to the side and the stares begin. I did not care. I kept on walking, when we got into my office, Kazimir wasted no time speaking.“Maiden, you going to explain to the pack the reason you hid your mate from them”“I don’t have to explain Kazimir, it is my business why I don’t want a mate. So, I don’t need you to lecture
