No!My mind kept warning me to stop Axe's activities. I knew he wanted to swallow all those pills into his body. No, he didn't. Has Axe gone mad? He wants to die of overdose, is that it?"What are you doing? Don't go crazy and don't even try!" I pushed Axe's hand until the water in the glass and the pills in his hand spilled out. Thankfully the glass didn't fall and break, Axe was a little taken aback by my sudden action. I had to do that, if I didn't hold him back quickly, he could be hospitalized again or worse, he couldn't be saved."Don't harm yourself, please."Now I turned my body so that our positions were parallel. Looks like mom and dad's plan had a bad effect on Axe's mind. In his eyes I saw nothing but emptiness and deep fear. Oh, poor Axe."Don't ever do this again." I quickly cupped Axe's face, giving him as warm a look as possible so that he could calm down a bit."I need my medicine," Axe whispered with a gaze that didn't escape my sight. His eyes were moving wildly, a

"Yes, you've gone too far, Son. I let you go all this time because I thought you were my only son, but you abused the freedom I gave you by ruining your sister's life. You don't deserve to live."My eyes bulged in disbelief as Dad came into Axe's room carrying an air rifle. Dad seemed to be taking aim, started to aim the rifle at the firing position and pressed the butt of the rifle against his cheek. No! I knew very well who dad was targeting. I won't let dad shoot Axe! I quickly stood in front of dad, spreading both my hands to become a shield for the poor man, who was currently silent. Seemingly unafraid and unconcerned of what dad was going to do to him."Before you do that, you better shoot me first, Dad.""Get out of the way, Bridgette!" dad ordered as he lowered the gun from his shoulder and looked at me sharply."You don't have to defend him. I'll finish him off right here. I don't mind losing one more useless kid like your brother, just a pain in th

Just now my footsteps stepped on the marble of the kitchen and I had to hold my breath deeply. My body flinched to notice the figure of a middle-aged woman who was sitting dreamily on the dining table. Mom's gaze was so empty, the tinge of sadness clearly radiated in mom's beautiful eyes. I really sinned to have given deep sorrow to the heart of the woman who had conceived and gave birth to me. Now how do I mend this fractured relationship? Mom will definitely not forgive me."Mom." I hesitantly stepped closer to her, but it seemed like mom didn't want to be disturbed until she turned her face away unwilling to look at me.I looked down playing with the hem of my original shirt, not knowing what to tell mom to stop being angry with me. I'd better not bother mom. That's right. Mom needed some time alone, to relax her head from today's various miserable events. Axe was waiting for me anyway, I couldn't possibly leave him alone in the bathroom for too long."I'm sorry if I've disappointe

I let out a rough breath staring at my reflection in the mirror, the neutral make up applied on my face not much still showing how pathetic I am right now. These few days my eyes kept waking up thinking about him, how is he doing now? Has it gotten better or is it possibly worse... is he not keeping his promise to me? I shook my head trying to get rid of Axe's name that never left my mind, his departure was like a tangled thread that I had to unravel one by one so that I could be a little more sane.Axe had really taken over my entire life. I mean, besides owning my body, he also owns my heart. Oh, now I realize that I love him, love him from the deepest part of my soul. He deserves to be loved, that's true. Who wouldn't love a man like him? Say it!Our time together has left me with many things, including creating a deep wound when we had to part.My love didn't come too late, I just realized it at the wrong time. But can I blame myself? No, I won't blame myself. Just blame why we w

Axe...His name doesn't come out of my mouth, it's just stuck in my head. It's a shock to see Axe in front of me right now, but I'm so grateful to know he's okay, even though the bruise on Axe's face is still very much there-a bit faded of course.Axe takes off the hat on his head and throws it away. Slowly, Axe's feet stepped closer to me, not quite loud enough. However, it managed to raise my guard. I felt that Axe didn't come to talk to me nicely, but rather the desire to punish was perfectly reflected in his eyes."Those lips are mine! Don't you dare to let that asshole touch them. Just once, and then not or never again!"Axe's words were demanding, with a cold, untouched aura emanating from the intonation of his voice. He's got it all wrong! I didn't let Arthur touch me, but indeed my body froze under the sudden attack. I wasn't prepared, nor did I even intend to return Arthur's kiss. I'm not as slutty as Axe thinks I am!"I don't like sharing, Baby girl. You're still my fiancé
