We figured a change of environment would help a lot. We went to California. On one of our outings, I ran into Lyla. This is where it all started," Derrick narrated half drunk."Lyla?" Derry repeated the name recalling the woman he had fallen in love with was also called Lyla. " The woman I love is called Lyla. I met her in California. Are we talking about the same person?" Derry asked surprised."Yes. It is the same person we are talking about. Lyla, that daughter of Jezebel. She is out to destroy me," Derrick confirmed for Derry almost in tears.Derrick already knew about Derry and Lyla because Luis had told him about them. Lyla asked realizing she couldn't move any further."Lyla," Derry mentioned her name seductively staring into her eyes. "I don't care if this baby is mine or not," he paused, put some space between them and shifted his gaze to the centre table. He had hoped the child was his.
