“Lia kidnapped? How…when…how…she–” Carlos mumbled, his eyes dancing in shock. Doubting his ears, he rushed to the notice board and had a look. Confirming that Emily and Jimmy had not lied left him limp as he imagined who could have kidnapped Lia right in Derrick's house. “Where are you coming from? You still haven't answered us? You were with Lia and yet you didn't know she was kidnapped,” Jimmy accused. “Who could have kidnapped her? Did you not see or hear anything? If she was in the almighty lycan king's house, how could she have been kidnapped! Don't they have the best security there!”“The exact thing I'm thinking…” Carlos muttered sadly. He just couldn't make sense of the whole thing. Why would anyone kidnap Lia…“I left the king’s house this morning…Lia was…” he paused, not sure to bring up Lia's miscarriage. In the process, sudden thought came over him. What if Lia had been kidnapped somewhere else and not Derrick's house…Anyone that kidnapped her knew she was weak at that

LIA’S POV “And do you want to know the biggest shock?” Laura charged up again. She looked at me, her lips cocking up. “Everything she had been telling you are all lies…this girl is no lycan. She is a fucking werewolf!”I crumbled. At this point, my legs became numb. How…how did she know of this…who could have told her….Carlos? No…it couldn't be… Even the day she kidnapped me, she never knew I was not Lycan…how then… “All these while I had been away, I was trying find out the truth and now that I found it, I had to come back and expose this lying bitch,” she sneered. The truth? My stomach sank. What else did she know about me? Derrick turned, his gaze darkening. “What did you just say?”“Derrick, I’m sorry I took time returning back to you but it was for a good reason. This bitch lied and deceived you!”“Is she speaking the truth?” Derrick questioned, his cold eyes gripping me. “Yes, tell him. Prove to everyone here that you are a lycan,” She demanded smirking. Why was she feel

WRITER'S POV“Shouldn't we do something?” Rick sighed, glancing at Damian. The two were in Derrick's office and he was not in for the third consecutive time in a week. It had been so. Ever since Lia was sent away. “Derrick is depressed. We should do something,” Rick added. Damian exhaled slowly. He knew that too. He knew that but he was clueless on what they should do because they'd never seen him that way before. “Will he be alright?” He looked at Rick. Doubting the answer that came to his mind. “Of course he won't be alright. He just banished his mate and removed her father from his position. How will he be alright,” grumbled Rick. “We should do something to appease him. There must be something we can do.”“The only thing we can do to appease him is bring her back but you know we can't do that.”The two sighed long and heavy again. Almost immediately Derrick strode in. The two men exchanged surprised looks. “Why are you both looking shocked?” Derrick asked them. “Why are you–

WRITER'S POV Laura did not hesitate. As soon as she left Mrs Kings, she headed to Derrick’s office where she was sure he'd the at. She was glad she dealt nicely with Mrs Kings. Derrick's father was never going to be a problem. He was never present anyways. Arriving at Derrick's office, she was told to wait a bit for him to be informed by one of the guards. This made her flare up. “What? You expect me to wait for you to go in there and come out?” She shouted at the guard. “I'm done with y'all poverty stricken snobs. How dare a commoner like you tell me what to do? Do you know who I am?”Rick came out. “What's going on?” “Ask this snob!” Laura gritted pointing at the guard. “He is stopping me from seeing Derrick! Can you imagine the smelly guts!”Rick glanced at the guard. “Forgive me, my Beta. I was only following the king’s orders,” the guard pleaded his cause. He faced Laura. “Derrick just finished having a meeting and having a rest. How about you come back a bit later?”Laura

WRITER'S POV“He will give me what I desire the most if I can give him what he desires the most…”Carlos mumbled as he ambled down the path. These Derrick's very words had stuck not just to his brain but to his tongue as he tried to decipher the meaning. His own part was easy. What he desired the most was becoming the Alpha of Blood Moon Pack but the other part was hard. What did Derrick desire? He stopped and put his hands on his waist. “He did not even check the gifts. How would he know it wasn't what he desired…”But then he remembered Derrick had specifically mentioned it was something that wasn't a box of expensive gifts. Then what was it? He frowned. The only ones he figured could know were most likely the ones close to him. But none of those were people he could meet. He wondered if he should have stopped and asked one of the guards as he was leaving. As he was contemplating, Alpha Dante and Alpha Greg crossed his mind. He reasoned that if Alpha Dante had even known how to f
