Lahat ng Kabanata ng The Third Deadly Sin : Kabanata 51 - Kabanata 60

Lindsay POVI almost choked on the water I was drinking when I heard Asher say. “Let's renew our vows" I had to make it repeat before I realized he was serious. Then I laughed. It was truly funny.“I don't see what's so funny," he said with a scowl on his face.“Because it seems like a joke to me honestly"“We have been married for 7 years, Lindsay. It's only right.."“Asher, don't start with your pretense that this marriage is okay" I pointed a fork at him angrily. He had to be kidding me. What the fuck did he mean by that. There I was, thinking of a way of eloping with Shaun and Asher just had to ruin the moment.“We can it work out, can't we?“"You can't bring back what Is already dead can you?“He dropped the fork in his hand back on his plate as he stared at me. “Our marriage is not dead," he said firmly. How could he even get angry for what he knew was true?“A marriage where I am being threatened not to get a divorce. You think I still love you, Asher, you better think again"

After gathering more courage, I brought my hands to the door and I did the dreadful. I knocked. Not once, not twice, multiple times to ensure he heard it. Then I brought my hand down and placed my bottom lips between my teeth, waiting patiently for the door to be opened. After some time, I was about to raise my hand to the door to knock again, but before I could, the door opened and my heart flew. Everything I practiced to say flew out the window as I stared at him. There was a glare on his face as he opened the door, probably out of frustration, but when he saw it was me, the stern look on his face instantly softened. He didn't expect to see me there.“Hey" my voice had turned raspy. I had to clear my throat to try again. “Hello"“Lindsay," he said with his intense eyes scanning me. I was dressed off. Common I just ran away from a vow renewal.“I came to see you"I forced a smile on my trembling lips.He didn't say anything, he stepped back a bit with the door wide open, gesturing me

Lindsay's POV.“What?" Was he joking? I scoffed because it was indeed ridiculous. I knew Asher never mentioned anything about his parents or his family, but such a coincidence of him being Shaun's brother was highly unlikely.“You are married to Francesco?" he asked when he finally found his word. He looked very devastated. Was Asher Francesco? I didn't know and I didn't want to ask. All I was interested in was convincing Shaun to stay with me even though everything about the both of us was a lie.“I didn't know how to say it. I just... Just wanted to feel loved. He did it, Shaun. All those bruises on my body that you had seen. It was all him. You have to believe me Shaun" tears trickled down my cheeks.I noticed how his eyes softened, but he still looked hurt. “He is my fuckin brother Lindsay. Don't you get it?" “He never told me he had a brother nor a family. He is a liar. Shaun please."“And about you being married?“ He asked, but I couldn't say anything. I just continued cryingH

Lindsay’s POV I stared at the food in front of me in revulsion. Asher had made it. I didn’t know why he did it because a normal person was supposed to be angry. Asher, on the other hand, chose to give me food, but give me the silent treatment. “You aren’t eating?” he asked. That had to be the third complete sentence he had said to me in a week. Yes, he hated me so much to even look at me, or talk to me. Well, the feeling was mutual. I couldn’t love a man who murdered my baby in cold blood. I was waiting for me to get back on my feet before thinking of a way to get the divorce I always wanted. “Because I don’t feel like it,” I said with a stern look on my face. I didn’t look at him while talking. I hated him too much to do that. He knew I hated him, yet he still kept pushing his luck. “Why wouldn’t you want to eat Lindsay?” I hated the way his voice sounded so calm as he said those words like he wasn’t a monster. Like he didn’t make me lose my baby and lied to my parents about it.

LINDSAY'S POVI had already lost hope and was about to leave the door, but suddenly it opened and before I could decipher what was going on, Asher dragged my hand and pulled me out of the room. He looked furious and with how red and wet his eyes looked, it was easy to point out he had been crying."Where are you taking me?", I asked, trying to free my hand from his tight grip. He didn't spare me a glance. He kept dragging me with him while I struggled, scared to death. I knew my husband and how he could be. For him to act like this, I was pretty sure he was up to something. With my hands firmly wrapped in his, he dragged me to the room he had been sleeping in since I got back from the hospital. He had refused to stay in the same room as me. I was pleased with that arrangement and also excited at the fact that he hated me as much as I did him.We got to the room and he locked the door. My heart skipped a beat "Asher what the fuck do you think you are doing?" I asked Asher who backed me
