Are we in the right 21st century? I think so. Sometimes, I'm in doubt, you know? That's because my dad wants to make me marry a guy. Yes, it is absurd! And every time I try to give an opinion, he tells me to shut up and respect him because I'm a minor. Is there a law that prohibits this kind of thing? I would like to understand more about this... I was in my room in the middle of a tantrum. That's because my father had just told me that my “fiancé” was going to arrive anytime to meet me. Interesting, isn't it? To know me. I feel like a horse for sale. Where the buyer comes to assess whether the animal is in good condition. If he asks me to see my teeth, I wouldn’t find it strange. "Daughter?" "Hum ..." I mumble irritably. I hate when people come talk to me when I’m mad. "Take a shower and put on the clothes I chose." I look at the dress on the bed and make a face. "I'm not taking a shower at all! If he really wants this damn wedding, he'll have to put up with me the way I am!"

The week passed too fast for my taste. It was the damned day that the little guy would come back here and I'm still not sure what for. This both annoys me and makes me very nervous and anxious. My dad doesn't say anything! Absolutely nothing! Not even to tell me what he is going to do, if this shit he invented is sealed or not. What the hell! ”He's here,” says Maria. I was sitting on the stable floor. I didn't want to show up at home, but of course I had no choice. “I have to go now?” “Your father said to call you, dear.” “Say I'm coming.” Maria leaves and I lean against the wall and sigh deeply. I so wanted my life to be mine! But what can I do against it? If it didn't depend on my parents, I could be gone. Maybe it's a good idea to go with this guy. He lives in the big city and I can get a job there, I don't know! Anything that gives me freedom and total control of my own life I get up unwillingly and run my hand over my pants cleaning the dirt from sitting on the floor. I w

After eating, I followed Daniel to the stable. This place is just wonderful! The stable is huge! And the horses are very well looked after. One more point for the uneducated handsome guy.He takes me to an all black horse. I smile widely, it was too beautiful! The hair shone in a way that made you envy. It’s shinier than my hair.“That's Cometa. He's like Teci.”“What do you mean?”“He has a connection with me.”“And does anyone have a connection with you?” I ask sarcastically and he rolls his eyes.I approach the horse and raise my hand to stroke it.“Wait!”“What?” I ask without taking my hand away.“He doesn't like ...” Cometa sniffs my hand and snaps his nose forward for me to caress. “No one...”I pet his muzzle slowly. Daniel had his mouth open looking at me.“Looks like you saw a ghost.”“The feeling is similar.”“I'm not dead!”“But he could do something with you...” He stopped talking and stares at me with a frown.“What?” I ask nervously and remove my hand from Cometa. He ne

Marcos stopped the car in front of a small cafeteria. It was very Brazilian. Daniel gets out of the car and offers me his hand to help me. I take his hand and get out too.“I'll call you when we want to leave.” He talks to Marcos.“Yes sir.” Go away after saying that.‘Let's go?”I nod and follow him into the room. There were enough people inside. I thought it was going to be empty, even more that there will be Karaoke.A guy approaches us with a big smile on his face. He's a little shorter than Daniel and has dark hair.“Glad you came, man! I can't take anymore to speak in another language.”“I can't imagine how people are talking to you” Daniel replies with mockery and the guy punches him in the shoulder. He looks at me and evaluates me for a second.“Your girlfriend?”I exchange looks with Daniel.“No. It's a long story...”“Hum ...” Close your eyes in my direction. I frown at him. “Come, I'll get you a table.”We followed him. At the bottom of the venue I saw a small stage and a

I took a long, hot bath. After running with Teci, a hot bath is what relaxes me the most. When I finished, I put on my clothes and packed everything. We were leaving in a few hours and I didn't want to be the cause of delays. Marcos came to get my things.“Do you know where we're going?” “Brazil.” “Right. Have you worked with them for a long time?” “Not that much. I'm not old.” I smiled when he said that. “I'm not saying you're old, Marcos. I'm just curious.” “I know, miss. I've been working with Mr. Lorenzo for two and a half years.” “Hum ... So, you know the family well, don't you?” “Yes.” “What do you tell me about his son?” “He's a good boy.” “Good boy? I know ... What else?” “What do you want to know?” “Nothing.”“OK.” “How old are you, Marcos?” “Twenty-six.” “Do you have a problem with my age?” “What do you mean?” “I don't know ... Forget it Marcos! I'm crazy.”He laughs lightly. I went down with him. Daniel was at the entrance and watched us go down. “You know
