Lahat ng Kabanata ng The Rejected Substitute Mate.: Kabanata 11 - Kabanata 20

Sofia's POV. His eyes for the first time really scared me. I was never one to be scared or afraid of anything at all but the look on his eyes was frightening. The moon goddess made him my mate but for the first time, I truly believe that she made a mistake in mating us in the first place. If he hadn't rejected me;we would be together acting like a couple. We would be sitting in the same place, laying down on the same bed and even having sexual intercourse. I wasn't elated at first when I found out about his rejection but now I was. Imagine if he had marked me;that meant that he might have the opportunity to take over my pack. I thank the moon goddess that he was foolish and didn't have the initiative to pull off such intentions. “Sofia or whatever you are called, it would be better for you to leave while you do because this would be my last warning to you." He uttered emotionlessly. The emptiness of any feelings in his eyes made me hate myself for once being eager to see him. I

Sofia's POV. I was highly displeased with his actions and I pushed his hand off my face. "How dare you touch me?" I glared at him. It annoyed me greatly because his father had done same thing with me earlier. I wondered if they were all in cahoots to send me absconding from their pack with their unmanly and irritating attitude. "I'm sorry" He apologized and kept his hand to himself. "For you to have attacked me in such an aggressive manner, you must have felt threatened by something or someone" "Threatened?" I chuckled loudly. “There is no one in the pack that can dare threaten me and even if I was threatened, I wasn't trained for so many years of my life to be defenseless,” I boasted. He smiled but I had no knowledge if it was a smile of mockery or admiration. "I have heard about so many of your exploits and I am extremely impressed that a female werewolf would lead her people incredibly well" He commended. "I seek no reason to make an impression unto anyone. I also detest i

Martinez's POV. Any movement from either of us would close the gap between our lips. My hand involuntarily moved to strands of her wet hair that fell on her face and I tugged it to bring her ear.She was beautiful, there was no doubt about that. My eyes locked with her ocean blue eyes that seeked to drown me in them. "Pervert!" She yelled and kicked me in my groin. "Aah" I cried out and my hands flew to hold it. She pushed me and I staggered back but didn't fall. "Aahhh" I groaned, she had hit me where it hurt the most. The pain was excruciating. "You have no right whatsoever to touch me or force me out of the pack. It's only Alpha Jose that has the levity to do such!" Sofia thundered. She held on to her towel before it slipped off. "Now get out of my room!" She yelled with her raging eyes staring at me. I should be the one angry with her for mentioning my mother, that was a name which made me recall a lot of pain and sorrow. I was supposed to be angered but instead the table

Martinez's POV. No!. I was no fool for rejecting a woman like her. She had always been full of herself and accepting her as my mate would only have boosted her ego nothing more. The first time I met was disheartening that my mate could ignore me like some pauper or pet and then think she could return to me like nothing happened. It wasn't convenient for her at that time, therefore she resorted to ignoring me but right now I didn't care. I wasn't interested in her body or power. I was only interested in claiming the Alpha title from my uncle. "Are you thinking about your life?" David asked annoyingly. "I had options in my mind" I replied. "What options?" "I was contemplating on how to punish you for ruining my sex and also talking highly of the person I abhor most in my life" I huffed at him. "I thought that Father was the one you abhorred the most," David said nonchalantly. "She joined the list" I replied without a thought. I had never hidden my disdain for my uncle but

Martinez's POV. I was more than shocked when she accepted the duel to death. Was she deaf when I added death to the word 'duel' or was she feigning ignorance?. It was a duel to death and she accepted it so swiftly like it was a play on the field, what kind of person was she?. Anyone in their right mind would decline with immediate effect or would ask for a day to think over it but she accepted it. This was actually the idea that Celine had given me to chase her out of my life. It sounded like the most excellent idea that I had ever been told. I commended my favorite greatly for being so high in wisdom. It was actually because no female would want a duel with a male, especially one in which one of the participants would die for the other to be pronounced the winner.I actually thought that she would decline and instantly gather her bags and useless stuff and run with her tail in between her legs but yet she had proved wrong again. I swallowed hard and repeated my question. “Sofia,
