Sofia's POV. My whole body felt instantly irritated as he laid his hands on me, how dare he?. I had been permitting his pervertedness for a while but this was getting out of hand. I understood that I had a win but I wasn't going to achieve that by getting abused or violated by such a bastard. "Alpha Jose…" I muttered in a low voice but it was actually like warning him to get his hands off my legs. "I don't think you have an idea of what your duties are,“Alpha Jose shook his head slowly. My duties were only to assist him in a few paperwork and scheduled meetings, that was how I had seen other personal assistants working for my father. " I really do know what my job is and my father had assistants which I watched carefully as a child" I replied and tried standing up but his grip became more firm around my thighs. "Your father had always been such a role model to you but there are few things he might not have taught you," Alpha Jose muttered with a smirk on his lips."My father ha

Sofia POV. "That is not fair at all" I opposed with an expression of dismay. "Let's go and eat, I'm quite hungry" Alesix said and tried pulling me along with him but I dragged my hand away from him."Someone is about to be killed and you are more concerned about food, what's wrong with you?" I yelled at him. “You are just like your father! "I yelled and he looked instantly hurt. I regretted it. "We are not sure if he is innocent and there are a lot of people who steal and cause others grief. I heard of a person who committed suicide because all her life savings were carted away by some thief. Not everyone is innocent” Alesix argued and palmed his face. "But they still deserve a chance to defend themselves, this is lynching and they aren't even sure of he stole it or not and the circumstances that might have led him to commit such atrocious act. They are all misguided" I muttered and shook my head in disbelief. "I understand you and I can view it as gruesome from your own perspe

Sofia's POV. They pulled up my injured body and I groaned at being in such an uncomfortable and hurtful situation. These were the people I was planning to rule and save. I thought they needed salvation but I was quite wrong. They were too involved in evil and the thirst of blood to be saved. Could they be saved?. That was a question that I might not be alive to answer properly. Looking back, I pictured Freya as a representative to each and everyone one of them in the pack but I was wrong. These people were completely brainwashed. I doubted if they knew the gravity of the atrocity they were about to commit. They were going to kill an Alpha's daughter and they weren't aware of the doom they were bringing on themselves. Though the Crimson pack was a bit larger in size than my pack, they could not match our skilled warriors that had won battles against other packs. I wondered my father's reaction if he heard of my death. I should be the optimistic Sofia that I had always been but i

Sofia's povI slowly regained consciousness, my eyelids fluttering open to reveal the familiar surroundings of the pack house. I was disoriented and weak, I struggled to sit up as my vision cleared. The dull ache in my head intensified with each movement which made me remembered that I had fainted and I was sure that Martinez had brought me here. The middle-aged pack doctor, stood by my side, concern etched across his face, giving me an helping hand. "Ah, you're awake, Miss Sofia," he said in a soothing voice. "You had quite a scare, but you're going to be alright. Just take it easy for now."I managed a weak nod, my voice barely a whisper. "Thank you, Doctor. What happened?""You fainted, my dear," he replied, his tone filled with compassion. "You must have lost much more blood than needed. But don't worry, we've taken care of you. You're in good hands."He examined my head, "you had a deep cut on you head but it's dressed now." He left the room after the examination. My personal ma

SOFIA'S POVHearing the morning bells sounding out, my eyes snapped open and I groaned in protest.I couldn't deny that taking a bedrest was great and addicting, however, I was tired of just staying in. In the next second, I stood up to my feet with a light nightdress on, I yawned."My lady!" I heard Freya's voice as she opened the door."You can't get out of bed yet!" She said, immediately, with a frown on her face.It had been two days since I was on bedrest and I was starting to wonder how she was able to keep me in."I can't stay in bed anymore, Freya." I said, outrightly and I took a step forward."But…" She started to protest. But then I was quick to look at her, with a scary glare."You can't tell me what to do, Freya! Do as I say!" I said, in a chill tone.Immediately, an embarrassed look came upon her face and she bowed her head."Yes, my lady!" She said.I looked at her in silence but then I sighed and then said, "Now! Help me get dressed!" Immediately, she got to work, fi
