"Yes, I moved out. Do you have any problem with that?""No, I don't but you should have informed us that you were leaving. What happened that made you move your things last night?""It was very urgent" "Very urgent that you didn't remember to call me. I could have even come over to help you pack" "No, I never wanted to disturb you" "So tell me where you moved into so that I can come and pay you a visit" "You don't have to worry about that""What about your job?"Gregory was tired of the questions and ended the call. He needed to rest from the long trip. Soon the hotel attendant knocked on his door and brought in his food. He thanked her and started eating immediately because he was famished. That night Gregory had to turn off his location from his phone and slept peacefully. The next morning, he started searching for a new apartment with the help of a map on his phone. Finally, he got one and made a call through the number that he saw. The owner of the apartment gave him a spec

"I think you will have to suite yourself. You are an adult so I don't think I need to advice you on what to do. The only advice you can listen to is the one you give yourself" "Exactly! And I am ready to do whatever I want without anyone's interference" Tracy's phone rang and it was her new lover. She picked it up and left the room to have a comfortable conversation. Ashley was not bothered. Everyone has their own life to live. She had a lot to deal with, so Tracy's was not her business. Ashley thought of calling Susan since she was the branch manager of her company. Maybe Susan could employ her. That was the best option instead of going back to the company she once left. It was like going back to her vomit. She wanted to discuss it with Tracy but on second thought, she remembered that Tracy wouldn't give her the best advice she needed and she once made a statement seconds ago that the best one can listen to is the one given by oneself. Ashley picked up her phone and called Susan

"What do you mean? You know her more than I do. I am only saying based on it is not right to work under your friend because she might take you as her slave and treat you in a manner that you might not like" "Hmmm, you always think negatively and it is very bad. Susan is not really what you think she is and I believe in her so well""You are free to go. I need to have a chat with my new man" Ashley stared at her friend for a few seconds before she covered herself with a duvet. The next morning, Ashley woke up early and prepared to go see Susan at her branch company. Tracy woke up and saw Ashley already prepared. "Oh! Set to leave?""Yes, how do I look?""You look cute as always"Ashley smiled because she knew Tracy would always say that she looked okay even if there was a fault in her outfit. Ashley stumbled out of the house and headed to the railway station where she would board a train. When she got to the location where Susan sent her, she called Susan and informed her that she

Ashley went home and broke the news to Tracy. Tracy was very happy for her, she couldn't believe that Ashley could take the bold step of getting her job back. "So what about Clara the receptionist?""Hmm, that one was shocked. At first, she gave me an attitude and asked if I had an appointment with her boss and I told her yes. She said I should wait, that her boss was busy, and besides he never mentioned having any visitors""What, you mean she said that?""Just hold on let me finish. I understood that she was trying to insult me. I didn't make it look as if I was happy to be called to resume work. I had to leave her there and walked straight to his office and of course, she was following me and trying to stop me but I never cared""Good! I love that" "I knocked and opened the door, she was shocked that her boss stood up and came to hug me at the entrance door. She even tried to question him but he shut her up and embarrassed her in my presence" "Interesting!" "He had to let her k

Ashley's boss was very shocked to see that she tidied up the leftover work. He promised to pay her for the job at the end of the day. Clara was very ashamed of herself when the boss invited her inside the office to show her that the work was already done by someone pregnant talk more of her that was single without a man.Ashley didn't say anything when the boss was scolding Clara. Instead, she made a statement that got Clara surprised. "Boss, why are you getting yourself worked up over Clara's laziness? Why don't you find a competent hand for this job? You need people that will build this company to a greater height" Clara's eyeballs nearly fell off their sockets as she widened her eyes in shock. She wondered how Ashley would make such a statement. Was that how much Ashley hated her? Does she want to throw her out of the company? "Well, you are right but I am going to watch her for some time to know if she will change. If she doesn't change, then I will get her fired" Clara didn'
