The whole street was very wet and lonely, not even a single soul was seen outside. The birds were screeching. Gregory came out of his new apartment to look around his new environment but he discovered that everywhere was empty. This was unlike his former place where he must see people passing by and children riding their bicycles. He closed his door and sat down on the staircase. "Ouch! This place is wet"There was a serious downpour some minutes ago and it didn't occur to him that the stairs would be wet. He had to go inside to change his long pants and came outside again. This time he had to clean the stairs with a long mop stick. He enjoyed the quiet serenity of the place. Gregory actually left his old apartment because of George Chulley. He wasn't sure if he was making the right decision but he had to do it so that he won't be feeling scared. He thought of the decision he was about to make and he felt that was the best decision. Gregory was so sure that the old man was Incorruptible and wouldn't want such a thing to bring his image down. When he finished thinking about it, it was very correct in his head. As he went to sleep that night, he proposed in his heart that he will be awake very early so that he will be able to get to his workplace early and know if there were other things he needed to hear. What if the old man asks him if there are some things the guy said about the restaurant? He didn't have enough proof.
