After death the vampires are neither buried nor they are burned, they have what is called and open funeral. In this the dead body of the person is placed under the son until it is withered away and mixed with the air and becomes one with the nature.Alastair’s peacefully sleeping body was placed on a bed under the open sky in the ground, everyone had gathered around him and were waiting for the sun to rise.Almost the entire clan had come to attend the funeral of their ex-leader, even Brenna was there, as the time passed the sun slowly rose in the sky, the sky was slowly illuminated as the rays spread, and eventually fell on Alastair, who was lying peacefully.Jayden’s eyes became wet as he saw that but he controlled himself, Hayley gently held his hand and entangled their fingers together, she gave him a look followed by a gentle smile.Soon more and more rays fell on Alastair his body glowed before it started to burn and slowly turn into ashes as it started to wither away and soon e

Jayden became quiet when he heard that, he just stared at Flint and his daughter, he opened his mouth and wanted to say something but Flint said, “I am going to give you sometime to think about it. This is a huge thing and I am sure that you are going to need time to think about it.I am sure that you are going to think straight and take a good decision, because the future of the clan depends on this, my family and I have put a lot of effort into the well-being of the clan and I think that my family does have a say on who should the be the co-leader of the clan, since we have a better understanding of it, someone as experience, strong, powerful and bold woman like Brenna who takes no bullshit from others deserves to be the wife of the leader.Because if something happens to you in the future, she can take care of the clan, and the clan also knows her.”Jayden heard everything that he was saying and didn’t interrupt him even once, and once he was done talking Jayden gave him a small sm

The fact that Brenna thought that she was better than Hayley was a very funny thing.Jayden wanted to laugh, how can Brenna think that she was stronger than Brenna, Hayley had gone through hell and back to get where she was today and there was no way someone like Brenna can ever go through what Hayley went through. He was not worried about her, but Flint was not as stupid as his daughter, so Jayden just hoped that they would not bother her anymore.~~Meanwhile at the pack, Elena and Nathan had come back and as soon as Elena saw Hayley she rushed to her and hugged her tightly, “how are you?!”She said, Hayley hugged her back as well and smiled, “I am fine, how are you?”“Perfect.” Elena smiled and then Nathan came back from behind and he was holding their luggage, he smiled when he saw Hayley and the shook hands, “congratulations.”“Thanks.”Elena then said, “so since the wedding is next month, we should all start shopping from now and then we have to decide the venue as well. Do you

Just as Nathan and Jayden had imagined the two of them were getting really bored over there, especially Nathan, because Jayden was often asked for his input or his opinion and advice but Nathan literally had nothing to say or do over there, so he was on his phone most of the time.“Gosh, I am so done.” Jayden said as he stood beside Nathan and saw that he was doing something on his phone, “what are you doing?”“Reading, the latest news.”“Oh, you mean comedy.”Nathan laughed, “yeah, right, it’s so fun to see the world leaders making full of themselves and their countries.”“Poor humans.” Jayden sighed and Nathan said, “aren’t you going to try out all the clothes that they have selected?”“They are going to select a dozen more and then I’ll go and try them all one by one, what a painful process.”“My number motivation to have a court marriage, or best to just elope.”Jayden looked at him, “So you guys are planning marriage.”“No way, that’s too soon, we are still getting to know each o

While Jayden had gone to his shopping with others Hayley and Luke stayed back at the pack and watched movies. But their peace was interrupted when Hayley was told by the guard that someone had came to meet her, she went out to see who it was and saw that it was Brenna.Hayley sighed and turned to Luke, she asked him to go inside the house and don’t come out, Luke understood that something was wrong but he trusted his sister and smiled before he went inside the house, and once he was gone Hayley looked at Brenna who looked like he was fuming. She went near her and smiled but that smile only made Brenna angrier and more agitated, she was so mad and infuriated that it seemed like she wanted to kill Hayley then and there.“What can I do for you Brenna?” Hayley asked.“You think that you have won huh? You think that just because you have manipulated Jayden so now you are above? But you don’t know him, I have known him before you and let me tell he is a man-whore and he is going to get bore
