The Vampire's Rejected Wolf

"Alpha." Hayley said slowly and gently with a gentle smile on her beautiful face, her eyes full of love as she looked at the alpha who was her mate.

"Alpha, I am pregnant." Hayley said as she sat on the bed with her body covered by the bed sheets that was slipping down her smooth body, revealing her milky skin.

"What?" Jayden said with eyes full of shock.

His face was pale and he was shocked as hell once he heard that.

Nathan blinked twice and did not reply for sometime, he just stared at Hayley.

Hayley slowly became anxious when she heard no reply from him, so her smile dimmed a little and she said, "what happened alpha aren't you happy?"

Hayley asked with a hint of worry in her voice.

Nathan blinked and took some time to gather his thoughts before he said with a smile, "of course dear, Of course I am very happy for, it's our child."

Hayley smiled brightly when she heard that, "I knew that you would be happy."

Nathan smiled as well and gave a kiss to her on her forehead, "I am so happy that I feel like I am on cloud nine."

Hayley smiled when she heard that, "Alpha, then can I ask you something?"

Nathan gave her a nod and she said, "Alpha, we have known that we are mates since six months, but you still haven't marked me. So now that we are pregnant don't you think that this is the right time for you mark me?"

Nathan did not reply immediately, but something changed, his expression was weird and something flashed in his eyes when he heard that.

Hayley looked at him with hopeful eyes.

Nathan smiled and gently touched her face and said with a smile, "of course, I will soon mark you Hayley and we will be together forever and raise our child, we just have to wait for my alpha ceremony.

Once I am made the alpha, I am going to make you and make you my Luna how is that?"

Hayley smiled widely when she heard that, "I am really very happy Alpha. There is nothing more that I can ask of you."

Nathan nodded and then slowly turned to the other side to get up but as soon as his back was facing Hayley his face changed.

His smiled was gone and he was no longer happy about this development.

Meanwhile Hayley was still on cloud nine.

She got up from the bed, wearing only a single shirt that also belonged to Nathan and went to stand before the mirror, she kept her hand on her stomach and imagined herself with a big tummy when she she would be in her seventh or ninth month.

Hayley was a beautiful woman, with brown hairs reaching her shoulders and pale skin with brown eyes, perfect cheeks and sharp nose.

She was truly ethreal.

And today there was a glow on her face, she was happy that she was going to be a mother of her mate's child.

And now the only thing that was left is be marked by Nathan and become his luna and always stay by his side and raise their child together.

"Where were you for the whole night huh?" Hayley looked at her dearest step -mother Beth.

Beth was looking at her with a gentle smile and a loving gaze.

Anyone who was not familiar with them would think that Beth was a very loving person and treated Hayley like her own daughter, in fact Hayley herself would think the same.

She would think that her mother loved her very much, but she was not naive anymore.

However even if she knew what her step mother was like she can't really do anything against her, so she gave her a small smile and said, "I was busy mother."

She said and tried to walk past  Beth, but she grabbed her hand and stopped her from moving any further.

Hayley stopped and looked at her, the two looked at each other in the eyes and Hayley gave her a small smile as she said, "is there something that you want mother?"

Beth gave her a smile as well, but her smile was not genuine, it was completely fake.

And Hayley knew it, Beth spoke, "what work was it? perhaps spending time with some men whole night?"

Hayley looked at Beth with sharp eyes full of hate and that she didn't even tried to hide.

In the end Hayley just gave her a smile and said, "mother you are wrong it isn't like this."

Beth looked at her with sharp eyes.

Hayley just looked down and was worried, she hated to admit but she was scared, she was scared that her step-mother would harm her and kill her child, woth how cruel she was Hayley knew that she would fo that.

Hayley just walked to her room and shut the door behind her, she kept her hand over her stomach and smiled slightly.

Hayley was the daughter of the pack's beta and she was the future beta, or had she thought that was until her step mother convinced her step-brother to be the beta and her father who had always thought that she was useless agreed to her step-mother's wish making Hayley devastated.

Everyone knew that her father didn't favour her, and so her step-sister and her step-brother always took turns to bully and not just them, many other pack members also bullied her.

One time she raised her voice and pushed her step-brother a little, hard and everyone created a chaos, her step-mother cried like her son had died and that day her father had beaten the shit out of her and locked her in the dark room, to starve fro three days.

After that her perspective of her father changed.

And over the time she only and only hated this pack and this family.

Six months ago on her eighteenth birthday she was about to leave the pack and go somewhere far but she found her mate and was unable to leave.

It turned out that Nathan already knew that he was her mate, but when Hayley asked her that why didn't he say anything if he knew to that reply Nathan only said that he was waiting for her to turn eighteen.

Hayley was happy that she had her mate now, and once she becomes the luna she was going to make sure that all these people suffer a lot.

Days passed and soon the day for the alpha ceremony also came, today was the day when Nathan was going to be crowned as the alpha of the pack.

Hayley was really exctied on that day and was getting ready.

However just before the ceremony she felt immense pain on her abdomen.

She clutched her stomach hard and collapsed on the floor writhing with pain, crying and screaming but no one was in the house everyone had already left.

Hayley felt something warm slid down her legs and eyes widened with horror when she realized that she was having a miscarriage.

She screamed and vommitted and was in immensed and called out for Nathan.

She dragged her body towards her phone and picked it up and tried to call Nathan but he did not pick up.

And the pain was so much that she fainted.

The next time when Hayley woke up, she was in the infirmary.

Her body was weak and pale as she tried to sit up but before she could the doctor came and said, "you better lie down, you are still weak..."

Hayley looked at her and then at her stomach before she cried and said, "What happened to my baby?"

The doctor looked at her with pity and said, "I am sorry to say but you had a miscarriage."

Hayley's eyes widened when she heard that, she felt her whole world came to an end, and she burst into tears, she cried and cried and cried.

And while she was crying her father came in with an angry expression, "what are you crying for? haven't you disgraced me enough! What are you making a fuss for! Getting pregnant with a bastard baby! Do you have any idea how much shame you have bought to our family!"

Hayley glared at her father and said, "Don't you dare say that my baby was a bastard! It was the child of me and my mate! How dare you call him a bastard!"

"Mate?! What mate! if you had a mate then why aren't you marked yet! huh! Why are you lying?"

"I am not lying my mate is Nathan and it was his child and he told me that he would mark me once he was the alpha he-"

Before she could complete speaking her father slapped her tightly her face flew to the side and she covered her face with her hand and looked at her father.

Her father's eyes were bloodshot as he looked at her and said with rage, "how dare you slander your sister's mate! How can you be so despicable and hateful, how can you conspire against your alpha?"

"What are you saying?" Hayley asked with horror her eyes were wet and her voice was shivering when she asked this.

"Nathan is Jasmine's mate how dare you say that he is your mate! you despicable bitch!"
