The following morning; Simone was up early, cooking breakfast for Emmett. She was buzzing on how successful the runway had been and what was happening later that afternoon. Humming to herself; the front doorbell chimes. “I wonder who that could be?” she says to herself heading over to the door to peak out the keyhole.“Aunty Cassie” Simone chimes, opening the door. “Where’s Aunty Josie?”“Doing official police business” Cassandra pouts, walking into the bungalow behind Simone. “I thought since she went down to the station early, I would come and see my favourite baby girl.”“Have you eaten?” Simone remarks, heading back into the kitchen to finish the bacon and eggs she was cooking. “I can make you some breakfast” she adds, pulling some more bacon and eggs out of the fridge.“I would love some breakfast” Cassandra states as Emmett walks through the kitchen doorway. “I can’t believe our babies are having a baby.”“Believe it” Emmett chimes in; taking some plates and cutlery out of the c

Standing at the alter; “You need to calm down. She will be here” Emmett tells Lester, giving him a smirk. It wasn’t long ago Lester was telling him the same thing as he thought of the similarity of the situation. “You and Caitie wanted a small affair and not tell anyone. This is what Simone and I did; it was only fitting to use the same church.”“You didn’t need to bring Cassie with you” Lester murmurs to Emmett, glancing back to the front row seat.“What were we supposed to do?” Emmett queries, looking over at Cassandra, sitting next to Caitlyn’s stepmother, Eleanor and brother, Lincoln. “Aunty Josie is interviewing Sylvia with Ty; I couldn’t exactly leave without explaining what was happening. Her and Aunty Josie will keep quiet.”The priest steps up behind the alter; ‘I should dress up as Elvis and become a wedding chapel if these people keep doing small weddings like this’ he laughs to himself. “Are you men ready?” he asks, looking between Lester, Emmett and Jason. Lester nods as

The following morning; Simone and Emmett headed into Hunter, Hunter and Russell law firm. She was meeting with Gloria and Angela’s lawyers to settle on Simone’s defamation suit against Angela. “Do you think Angela will settle out of court?” Simone asks Emmett, trying to get an idea of what to expect.“If she knows what is best for her, she will” Emmett responds, pulling into the carpark. “You have the emails from potential clients on what she said and Mark’s email from Angela withdrawing the models. Her claim to Tina, Breanna and Kim you emailed and withdrew them didn’t happen.”“How can you prove something that doesn’t exist?” Simone responds with a smile, getting out of the car. “If I get the chance; I want to confront her about Joseph Holland too. She needs to be aware if someone has a stalker; she needs to take it seriously” she adds as the pair walk into the office.“Gloria is waiting in the conference room for you” Helen calls out as she sees Emmett and Simone walk through the

The next two days consisted of preparations for the career’s day. Principal Shultz emailed Simone on who was going to attend and where her area would be. ‘Dear Leona nee Simone; you will be positioned in area 12’ Simone reads, stopping to pull up the map of the auditorium. “I’m next to Lively Design Studio. That was a given” she laughs before noticing Travis was on the other side of her area. She quickly glances over the map to see where Emmett, Lester and Richard would be established. “Of course, Emmett has more than one area” she giggles, noticing he had Areas 1-3 and was next to Rocky Valley hospital representatives in Area 4. “That would be interesting” she murmurs to herself. She glanced to see Peterson Properties were established in Area 6 next to the police department on one side and Hannah Cottrell Law on the other side. ‘They are close together, Nice’ she says inwardly as Emmett comes into her office.Moving a chair to sit beside his wife he notices her computer screen; “I ha

By 9.30; they were in full swing with the career’s day as students from other schools joined them. Simone, Caitlyn, Rebecca and Sandy were showing girls from all walks of life how to model. “I need to pee. Holly, do you have my dress for the mock runway show at 10?” Simone asks, looking over at her.“Here” she says, pulling out a dress bag, handing it to Simone. “Do we have hopefuls, wanting to go down the catwalk with you?”“We have a few girls. No boys” Tiffany responds as Simone spots Jonathon coming over to them.“Rob, you and Bart can come down the runway; and grab that boy to go with you” Simone states, pointing to Jonathon as she hears another boy scoffing at her. “Your name wouldn’t be Scott by any chance?”“I’m much better looking than him and wealthier. I should be the one you choose” Scott replies, smirking in Jonathon’s direction. “You need someone who complements a babe like you.”“I didn’t choose you” Simone smirks, putting her arms around Jonathon. “I chose my brother-i
