Emmett and Simone had taken Jonathon over to see Richard the following day; leaving Cheryl at the bungalow to have some time to herself. He had sat down with Richard and explained what had happened the day before on the car drive to the countryside and told him he knew who gave him the scars on his shoulder; arm and leg. Richard figured it would come out eventually and didn’t blame Simone for what she did at the time. He blamed himself for pushing her to the point, she had no other option.“The one thing I don’t understand. Richard said yesterday when he was unconscious in the hospital; his memories were playing over in his mind like a movie and right at the end; he heard a woman’s voice saying be good to her boy” Simone says to Emmett as she puts on her green maternity dress to head into the office building. “People say when they die your life flashes before your eyes and you hear people. There was no indication he died because he was connected to monitors the whole time. I don’t thi

When Katrina and Simone got back to the office; Holly was waiting for Simone on one of the chairs. Simone smiled; glancing towards her stomach. She was a week behind Simone with her pregnancy and was pleased she could go through it with someone. “Holly; it’s good to see you” Simone squeals, giving her friend a hug. “What brings you in here?”“Can I speak with you in private for a moment?” Holly questions, eyeing Katrina standing next to her. Katrina was about to excuse herself when Holly continues. “Kat; you should come in too.”As the trio walk into Simone’s office; Holly glances out the doorway to make sure no-one else was around before shutting the door. “What is this all about?”“I see you have a few models registered in the Next Fashion Designer. Mark put our names in 8 months ago and Quinten and I were chosen” she says, taking a seat on the sofa because it was more comfortable for her. “We found out a few weeks ago we were chosen.”“You both are awesome. I won’t be surprised if

s, rubbing his temples. ‘I can feel a migraine coming on’ he seethes to himself.“What I’m about to tell you can’t leave this room” Emmett says, staring at his best friend who nods in his direction. “I have something you will have that will put Alexandro in his place. But like Simone says; wait until he is eliminated. This is a great opportunity for Simone, Roberta and Matthew; we don’t want to jeopardize them in any way.”“Are you going to tell me or are you just going to sit there and stare in my direction?” Lester spits, continuing to rub his temples.“I went to high school with Alexandro; or Alexander Johansson” Emmett says as Lester’s mouth drops open with what he just said. “When Simone told me about what happened, I google searched him and his picture came up. I had Mike follow up to make sure he was the same person. I don’t think Angela knew his real name either otherwise the two of them would have conspired against me.”Lester didn’t know what to think about this information.

The following day; Simone was in Emmett’s office going over the plans for the apartment building with Richard. He had two of the crews go in to clean up each floor; placing safety walkways throughout. “We got the permits we needed. The engineer wants us to replace the beams on the eighth floor and the roof. They were damaged more than we thought” Richard tells them; pulling out a flyer about the beam they suggested he use.“If it means the building will be secure; go ahead and replace them” Emmett states, pulling out the colour swabs Richard bought with him. “Have you decided on who you want to get to do the interior design?” he questions Simone. He had left this side of it up to her as he didn’t care what it looked like on the inside.“Not really” Simone shrugs, looking down at the different colours in front of her. “Do you have a suggestion on who we could use?”“I do” Richard says giving them a grin. “Leslie Whitehouse.”“Aunty Leslie?” Simone gasps, glancing over at Emmett. She di

Simone decided to take Leslie down to the third floor to her office with Tiffany and the three of them would go over the interior designs for the apartment building. Emmett was left alone to his thoughts and decided to message Richard to make sure he was taking Cheryl to the hospital.‘Is everything ok? Tiff said you left for lunch with Cheryl’ he messages; not wanting Cheryl to be spooked. Instead of answering; Richard sees the message and hits the call button. “You better be at the fucking hospital” Emmett snaps down the phone.“I am; it took a bit for Sandy and I to convince her to go” Richard whispers down the phone. “Sandy is in the examination room with her now. Her whole right arm is severely bruised and I could see a bruise on her right wrist; it looks like Dad grabbed her there and there’s a bruise on her right hip. It’s more than dad pushing her into the door like she told me. I think he hit her” Richard says, keeping his eye on the door so he doesn’t get caught talking to E
