Zena POV's I didn't need anyone to tell me what to do next. This wasn't how I imagined my life to be even at the slightest moment, I didn't want my baby's daddy and his mum to have any issue all because of me.Just as I was about to say I'll be willing to leave, the guards rushed in, and they immediately grabbed me.“Let me go!” I yelled, struggling to break free, this was worse than every insult I've received over the years, she just made me feel like a nobody.“Let her go! Now!!” Justin yelled, and the guards immediately freed me.“You guys can leave, you're not needed here,” He added and the guards bow and they left.“What the hell are you doing son? Challenging me because of this bitch!” She yelled, breathing heavily, while I stood, watching her as she dragged me to the mud.“Mum since the very day you gave birth to me, I've never done anything against your will, not even once. But this time around, if you can't do the same for me, just this once. I'm afraid I'll have to make a d

Zena POV’sI sat down on the bed staring around, trying my best not to think of what they all said about me. Deep down I was trying to encourage myself that I wasn't a nobody, but his mum’s words left a deep cut in my heart.I was fighting hard, preventing my anxiety from rushing in, I didn't want to do it. But my feelings were been pushed, I was hurt and this was the moment I needed my mum, but she isn't here, it was just me, against the world.I crawled down from the bed and sat on the floor, shivering and swallowing hard. I'd managed to lock all of my anxieties, not wanting to be trapped in, but now it seems I'm going back into where I left.“Mum,” I whimpered as tears trailled down my eyes, I didn't want to self harm, I really didn't want to. But now I had no options.Trapped in my own illusions, voices clouded my head as they all yelled at me. “Burn Zena, Burn!!” This was the voice of a nobody I created in my own head. A voice I stopped listening to over the years, but now it cam

Justin POV’s At the Company…I sat at my desk, sorting through the endless stacks of paperwork that seemed to multiply every time I turned my back. Just as I was beginning to feel overwhelmed. My secretary, Mr Dante knocked on the door and he walked in. "Sir, you have a meeting at 2 o'clock and it’s time," He said. I sighed and stood up, wishing I could just stay buried in my work, but I knew I had to get on with it."Send them in," I said, steeling myself for the meeting ahead. The board members filed into the room and took their seats around the conference table. They all looked serious, and I knew what they were going to say before they even opened their mouths. "Sir, we need to discuss the matter of your succession plan," the head of the board said. "As you know, it's imperative that the company have a clear path forward in the event of your absence. Do you have any plans to marry and have an heir?"I took a deep breath and prepared myself for what was sure to be a difficult co

Justin POV’sI slowly opened my eyes to a bright beam of sunlight streaming through the window. I blinked, trying to adjust to the sudden light. As my eyes adjusted, I took in my surroundings. I was in my bedroom, the sun shining through the curtains. I sat up, feeling a bit disoriented. How had I gotten here? I tried to remember the events of the night before. My head felt like it was been gripped. Every time I tried to move, a throbbing pain shot through my brain. It was like someone was beating a drum inside my skull. I groaned and rolled over, trying to find a comfortable position. But no matter what I did, the pain wouldn't go away. I thought about the night before, and the drinks I had consumed. Had I gone too far? Had I done something I would regret? The memories were fuzzy, and I struggled to piece them together. My legs suddenly hit something and I turned to see what it was, What i saw made my heart stop. There was someone lying beside me in bed, their head resting on a pill

Zena POV’sLater in the evening…After the hectic day with Justin’s mum and his fiance, she made do most of the work for his fiancé until she left. I decided to rest but I couldn’t. I’ve been having a serious stomach. I could feel the pain slowly building in my stomach, like a storm gathering on the horizon. The dull ache gradually turned into a sharp, burning sensation, making it hard to even breathe. I doubled over, clutching my abdomen, hoping the pain would go away. But it just kept getting worse. I began to sweat, my heart racing. I didn't know what was wrong, but I knew I needed help."Help!" I called out, my voice barely a whisper. I was so weak from the pain that I could barely speak. My eyes began to fill with tears, and I wondered if I was going to die. "Someone, please help me!" I begged, feeling desperate and afraid. I heard footsteps approaching, and I hoped that someone would come to my aid. But I couldn't help but wonder if it would be too late. The door opened and Mr
