Alessia I rolled on the bed for the umpteenth. I found out hard to sleep even though I forced myself to. I have been feeling lonely and bored in such a big chamber. Even when I tried to take a nap to clear the boredom, I find it hard to sleep. I stood up from the bed and walked into the bathroom. I washed my face with the water that rushed from the running tap. I walked out of the bathroom and dried my face with a clean white. I groaned out with a sigh and threw the novel in my left hand away. It's quite frustrating that despite how hard I tried to kill the boredom in the room, I still find it hard to concentrate on the book. I have tried everything possible in the room to make sure that I don't feel bored but it wasn't working out. Everything doesn't seem right. The only option that I could only think of was to leave my room. I liked the idea but once again I remembered the warning that Asher gave me before leaving the room. He told me not to his house until he's back from

Jessica I slumped hard on the cold floor with a cold and solemn look on my face. I tightened my knuckles and bit my lower lips as I caressed my neck which burned with excruciating pain. I find it hard that Damien could do such a thing to me. He hadn't raised his hand to touch me before but he strangled me and tried to kill me. My heart skipped as the memory kicked inside my head. I have never seen such a side of him before until now, and it's all because of her, Alessia. She was the reason why he lashed out and attacked me. She is the reason why I'm in pain. I grunted out in pain as I tried to get up on my feet. My body was aching in pain. He has drained my strength away. I'm glad that he didn't kill me. I had thought I was going to die. My neck refused to heal because it got injured by an Alpha claw. It will take my neck seven days to heal because his claws are venomous. "You're going to pay for this, Alessia," I cursed beneath as I staggered back to my feet. She's the reason

AsherWhat! I gasped out in shock. I bit my lower lips and clenched my fist as I watched her run out of the ballroom. The ballroom becomes lousy as the pack members murmur among themselves. Why did she make such a statement? Didn't she want to be my Luna? Why? I wasn't expecting her to reject such an offer. My heart shreds in pain as different thoughts cross my mind. I made up my mind not to conclude until she tell me the reason why she turned me down in the presence of my pack members. I felt quite embarrassed and humiliated because my friend from another pack was present but that wasn't my presence. I need to find out why she turned me.I snapped out of my thoughts, ignored the noise from the pack members, and rushed out of the ballroom. "Alessia," I called repeatedly as I ran after her. I breathed heavily as I caught up with her pace. I grabbed her hand, and she stopped then turned to me with a cold and fierce look. "What did you want?" She asked differently in an unpleasant

Asher .I gulped down into nothing after the statement of Elder Elliot. It took me a few seconds to recover from the shock. How could they give me such a crucial condition? I can't possibly make them the Luna of my pack. "I can't concur with this," I interjected in a cold and firm voice. "This is no longer your choice to make anymore. You once have the option for only your mate to undergo the task but you ruined it,""According to the tenth law of the pack, the Alpha must inform the elders and have their agreement before carrying out any crucial operation or so,""That's the price you'll pay for violating the law, Alpha. Your mate has to undergo the task if you want her to become the Luna of the pack,""And if she refuses, you know what that means, right? Jessica would be the Luna of the pack," he concluded as though he had been planning what to say. And for a moment in my life, I was rendered speechless. I wasn't expecting everything to turn out this way. At first, I thought I'd

AlessiaI rushed into my room in tears and locked the door. I leaned on the door and slumped hard on the cold floor with tears rolling down from my eyes. The tears that I have been holding poured down freely and I cried bitterly. My heart clenched in pain as the scene of Asher kissing Jessica replayed in my head. I want to stay strong and hide the tears but I can't hold it anymore. It broke my heart that he could forget about me so soon and return to Jessica. I know I was wrong by pushing him away but I wasn't expecting him to move on so quickly. Though I didn't want to believe what I saw, I couldn't help it. The scene keeps replaying in my head. My heart shreds in pain each time I remembered how he kissed her passionately as though he'd always wanted her. Maybe he has always loved her but I'm a fool to notice it. I'm a fool to think he'll ditch the girlfriend he has been dating for years for me. When I returned to him, I realized my mistake and wanted to apologize to him until I
