THE PRISONER (FORTY ONE)
Blakely smiled broadly as she glanced at the brown box on the passenger seat of her car. She felt she had done the right thing by moving the box into her car and taking it with her wherever she went. She was afraid that Nickson would steal it from her. She noticed the great interest in Nickson's green eyes as she tossed the photos onto his desk. And since last night she couldn't hold her tongue to ask about something so forbidden, she was sure Nickson would know that she had learned all this from Rebecca's magic boxes. Nickson wanted to take the boxes away from her so she wouldn't have any evidence of him being a jerk, but she wasn't going to let Nickson get Rebecca's boxes that easily. She will hide the boxes in a safe place until she finds out all the truth about her sister's odd marriage. "Why are you laughing? Did you see anything funny on the way? Did you see the clown?” Arthur's voice in the back seat broke Blakely's pleasure a little. She then looked back for a moment. She sa

TERRIBLE THING (FORTY TWO)
“Are you sure that the result is accurate? This can't be wrong?” "Sorry Nick, the check I did was not wrong. I can guarantee that.” “I can't believe something like that could happen. This is terrible.” "It is. You shouldn't be messing around with this." "I don't! It wasn't me who manipulated all of this."   Nickson stared blankly at the piece of paper that lay in his lap. He had read all the words on the paper more than ten times until he had memorized all the details down to the periods and commas printed on the paper. But no matter how much he read it, the contents of the paper didn't change at all. The contents of the paper remained the same, still making him uneasy and worried. He lifted his head. Look at the portrait of his house which still has bright lights in several rooms. He was too early to go home. But today he had experienced all sorts of irritating emotions that ma

I WANT YOUR LIPS (FORTY THREE)
Nickson felt a gray sadness creep into his heart. Blakely had never looked so devastated. At her sister's funeral she looked broken and vulnerable, but this time she was more than that. All the good memories that she had kept in her memory of her sister slowly began to crumble. There was nothing good left in her memory other than the bitterness that her family had been destroyed, leaving her alone in deep sorrow. "Harriet is the second victim. Then Rebecca continued to harass me. Whenever I disobeyed her desire to meet or just saw her groping my face, she would punish me by hurting the women who were close to me. There were at least five women who were hurt by Rebecca. Fiona is the fifth and the worst. Your sister pushed her off the balcony of her apartment and it killed her." "No way," said Blakely sharply. Her eyes stared at Nickson with hatred. She swore she would make Nickson's life worse than what Rebecca had done to him if he ever tricked her. “You impr

PAINFUL TRUTH (FORTY FOUR)
This morning Blakely was acting normal as if nothing happened last night. She wakes up early as usual and cooks in the kitchen. The chocolate cupcakes were still on the cooling rack, looking even more pathetic than the name she had given them, sadness cupcakes. She then took the cupcakes and placed them on the kitchen counter. She needed to turn it into a happiness cake this morning so she could eat it with Arthur. The kid will surely be happy to get the cute cakes. So she decided to decorate the top of the cake with buttercream and sprinkles of colorful sprinkles to make the cake even more interesting to eat. As she was decorating the cakes, the sound of heavy footsteps came down the stairs. Blakely's shoulders tightened slightly at the sound of Nickson's footsteps getting closer. After what happened to them last night, Blakely wasn't ready to meet Nickson this morning. The man had broken down her defenses. He kissed her very intimately and fiercely but denied the possibili

FLIGHT (FORTY FIVE)
When she walked into Metallon Corp, the cool office air filled Blakely's lungs even more. The image of Rebecca standing behind the reception desk with a fake smile made her chest hurt. She had been betrayed so much by Rebecca. Her mind now rejected all the memories she had with Rebecca. She wanted to erase all their memories and pretend that Rebecca was never in her life. Blakely walked straight to the receptionist and ignored the CCTV cameras that Nickson had installed in every corner of his office lobby. Precisely if Nickson saw her in his office, that would be so much the better. She wanted Nickson to know that now she was furious with him. "I want to meet Nickson Darragh." "Sorry, have you made an appointment with him?" “No need to make an appointment. I'm his sister-in-law." Ignoring the receptionist's pale face, Blakely walked straight toward the elevator. Her hands were tightly clenched on either side of her body. Her breath hitched, ho

TRUST ME (FORTY SIX)
This journey felt wrong and very hard for her. Along the way, she just stared glumly at the very dark and cloudy night sky. Several times the plane shook as it passed the storm clouds scattered around the sky. Her head felt very heavy. She wanted to sleep during this flight, but her eyes were too stubborn to close. The only thing she could do was stick her head against the back of her seat. The person next to her moved several times. She looked like she was being watched, but she tried to ignore it. The person may know that she is very sad, so he always moves very carefully next to her. "Good evening, would you like something before we land, Ms?" "No, thank you." “I want black coffee. Just black." For the first time, Blakely heard the man next to her speak. But she only glanced at him, looked disinterested, and leaned her head back against the back of the chair. Tonight will be a long night for her. She had an appointment with Doctor Thomas for tomorrow at nine o'clock. Tonight sh

TRICKED (FORTY SEVEN)
Blakely decided to trust Nickson and let the man take her to his penthouse on 5th Avenue. Had she not been so exhausted last night, she would have admired the whole place in Nickson's splendid penthouse. This time Nickson’s property is not black and gray, but a sapphire blue that looks very beautiful when combined with the view from the large windows overlooking the sparkling heart of New York City. Blakely opened her eyes slowly, feeling unfamiliar with the room she was currently in. But her brain immediately reminded her that she was currently in Nickson's suite. The white walls and sapphire blue decoration greeted her as he fully opened her eyes to stretch her stiff muscles. She wanted to stay in bed longer. But she had slept too long last night and now the sun was shining through the windows in the room. Time to wake up, Blakely! With heavy steps, she walked to the bathroom. She turned on the faucet to fill the Jacuzzi and poured the fragrant liq

THE MOTHER OF HIS SON (FORTY EIGHT)
Nickson frowned. He tightened his grip on Doctor Thomas's shirt collar even more while his brain was busy thinking. "What do you mean, doctor? You want to play with me?” The doctor shook his head stiffly. "You said you didn't know anything." Blakely's voice suddenly rose between the tension that was choking the three of them. She looked fragile and withered like a flower that was about to fall. Her hands drooped over her thighs and she couldn't seem to believe any of the men in the room. "I don't know anything." "You saw the woman," said Doctor Thomas suddenly. “The day before I took the egg, you asked me to take you to her treatment room. You wanted to see her and I took you to her room. You don’t remember?" "Are you trying to manipulate me?" Nickson hissed angrily. He had no recollection of ever having asked Doctor Thomas to do that for him. But the man's weak shake and frightened expression made him doubt that he was lying.

BRING HER BACK (FORTY NINE)
"What have you done, Hulya?" Jonathan rebuked his wife angrily. Unfortunately, he couldn't speak aloud because Arthur was playing lego around them. “I just bullied Nickson a little. He had strayed too far. If I don't take action soon, it will end up as pathetic as it used to be.” Hulya's heart was always concerned about her son's condition. There were so many oddities she had picked up on Nickson's life, but her son always avoided the topic if she tried to ask him. Nickson always has a reason to make his mother give up asking questions about his unhappy life with Rebecca. “Arthur needs Blakely. I certainly enjoyed spending the whole day with Arthur. He's a smart boy and rarely bothers me. But the boy missed Blakely as much as he missed his birth mother. Almost every day he always asked when Blakely came to pick him up. I can't bear to see his gloomy face, Jo." "I know. But let Nickson take matters into his own hands. You don't have to meddle i

BAD SITUATION (FIFTY)
His mother is missing! Completely vanished from the earth without a trace like the demons had taken her away. Nickson growled repeatedly in his car trying to reach his mother. This was the fortieth call he had made today, and his mother had not answered any of his calls. Even now his mother has turned off her phone and all his calls go straight to voicemail. He never knew that not getting an answer when calling someone would be this annoying. His father's cell phone is also not much different from his mother's, it's not active! His always-neutral father must have been incited by his mother into following her plan to take Arthur away from him. And now is the beginning of all his mother's plans, hiding Arthur from him. His parents' house was empty and dark. They hadn't been home all day, and he didn't know where else his parents would go to hide Arthur. He had met Nancy, the woman who cleaned his parents' house every day, she said his mother hadn't been seen since the last tim
