21. Kat kidnapped Rogue's POVI was back to The Drifters' clubhouse, sitting in the middle of the sofa. A leg crossed on the other, my shirt out of the band of my formal pants. 23. Not scared of me?! Kat's POV I hit my head against the headboard as I frantically sat up when the veil of sleep lifted from my eyes. I was ready to scream and wail on top of my lungs as I thought I'd find myself naked and bruised in a bed with baldy Babbiani snoring happily for having ripped my vagina apart beside me in the bed. The realization of getting up to the view of an empty bed and bright surroundings glowing with warm sun rays hit me like a spear with full force. 25. An Omertà Kathrine's POV I shivered with a bone-rattling wave of horror crawling up my spine. I held the blanket right to my chest and attempted to keep sobs from spilling from my mouth. "I didn't see you. Nobody did, alright." The tall mafia King spoke with a hiss. I looked down and closed my eyes, letting the rivulets of sorrow trail down my cheeks. It's not like I am unseen or untouched. My body has endured assaults I wouldn't want to go through them again. I've roamed bottom naked in my room not too long ago with men looking at me closely. However, having been seen like this by men other than I knew tormented my insides. I pressed my lips together but the sobs still spilled. "You fainted, alright. I just carried you after your shift and put you on the bed." He said, and this time he blew out a heavy breath and rolled his eyes. I took a peek from between my fingers that I had covered my face with, and noticed his face was red. Not with anger but more with embarrassment.

29. Remorse Rogue's POV I clenched my jaw harder and sucked deep breaths. A nervous habit in moments of hesitation like this. With my eyes still glued to the screen, I sat in the chair the ugly beefcake had occupied not five seconds ago and pulled the laptop closer. I opened the mail and looked at the attachment— the video clip. On the thumbnail was a still image of expressionless Kathrine staring at the camera straight at me with eyes that were actually floating with terror. I counted to ten before clicking the play button. The video began, so did the rise of turmoil in my chest. I bit into the inside of my bottom lip as the video started with the door being violently kicked open. Kathrine jumped at the sound and sat straight on the bed. She didn't flinch back when Cezar approached her with the camera focusing on her face. This face I was seeing now was on the thumbnail. Still and expressionless. But the thousand questions in her eyes and the muscle at her jaw ticking exhibit
